Good choice for sourdough bread
This cast iron loaf pan is heavy-duty and built to last! It heats evenly, producing perfectly baked bread with a great crust. The pre-seasoned surface helps with easy release, though a little extra oiling is needed at first. A fantastic pan for serious bakers!

Just a solid unit that works well
Nice and heavy duty. Resulted in perfectly browned crust. A pleasure to use. Feels like something that will offer a lifetime of service. Definitely a good product to have at a reasonable price.

Great Bread Pan
I live off-grid and do all my cooking, grilling, baking & smoking outdoors, don’t have an indoor kitchen. Baking is done on a propane grill. All my cookware is Griswold or Lodge cast iron. Nothing beats cast iron cookware. It’ll last forever as long as it’s cared for properly. Soon as I’m done using a cast iron utensil it gets cleaned witha brush and hot water only and rubbed down with a thin layer of rendered animal fat then hung on a nail on the side of the house. I’ve yet to have any rust develop on anything, food never sticks. I laugh at some people and how they sand their cast iron to get the mold bumps and imperfections off, waste of time and totally unnecessary, that’s somebody with too much time on their hands

Love these!
I bought 2 of these. I love the size as it is perfect to make bread for a small house hold. I would suggest getting larger pans if you make bread for a family of 4 who goes through a lot of bread. I caught these on sale so they were a very good value. The weight is as expected for cast iron, and it is easy to care for if you know how to yake care of cast iron. I love the shape and how my loafs come out in them. I make my best tasting bread in these.

Awesome addition to the kitchen.
This was my very first attempt at baking a loaf of bread and it came out perfect. 10/10 would buy again. Very easy to get the bread out, easy to maintain and clean, and will last literally forever. Thank you to the creators.

Easy to clean. Smaller than average.
This is a bit smaller than your average bread pan, but I was still able to use my recipe with it. If you have a larger recipe Iâd be concerned about overflow. I have switched a lot of my kitchen pans to cast iron for its material and longevity, and this didnât disappoint. For those of you who havenât used cast iron it is nonstick if seasoned properly. This pan was easy to clean. I would definitely recommend. Reason for not giving 5 stars is only based on size.

Bake to perfection
I discovered Lodge cast iron a few years ago. They are highly rated and so affordable. I have variously sized skillets.
When I saw that Lodge made a loaf pan, I jumped on it. This pan makes a perfect loaf of bread. Like all cast iron, it is imperative to clean it properly and keep it oiled.
I recommend using Lodge’s cleaning tools, particularly the brush which cleans thoroughly but doesn’t scratch the pan.
I highly recommend this pan, especially if you are a baker. It would work for meat loafs too.

Best bread pan
I purchased two of these and am thinking about ordering a couple more they made the best bread have always used glass bread pans and now I will be using my cast iron bread pans from now on the crust on them was perfect cause it cooked more evenly than the glass ones.my bread did not stick to them like it does with the glass ones. They were worth what I paid for them. The bread actually taste better. The size is the same as a glass pan.

The tall walls on this Lodge cast-iron bread pan allows the gluten-free bread dough to grip-on, producing successful gluten-free bread baking which will not collapse. I am extremely pleased with this high-quality product and the perfectly lofty gluten-free loaves I have been baking!

Great product. My wife and I love cooking with this. Recived the product in really good time without Prime. Great customer service when I made the mistake of thinking it was not received. They were on task and going to send me another product. Above and beyond.
