The magnet holds well and the spring is strong
I use this in my woodshop so I can see messages that may come in while working. The spring is really strong and it just barely is big enough to hold my phone. But it works and does everything I need. Just takes two hands.

I use my phone to keep score on the GHIN app. Typically a golf cart has no good place for a phone, so it flops around in the dash area or below the dash.This magnetic phone holder is PERFECT!The magnet is ridiculously strong and wont come off while golfing. The spring loaded grip keeps the phone perfectly in place and never falls out.I use it in portrait mode, but you can spin the holder and use it in landscape mode just as easy.
