Superior to clamp
Makes it much easier to use on the OSM 6 mobile versus the clamp that comes in the box. My max phone has it’s buttons hit with the clamp. Plus I can keep these on more than one device to switch them out quickly.

Works
I have the DJI Mobile 6 and android, and I absolutely hate the clamp it comes with. It’s so bulky and even covers the power button. It should technically be used w/o a phone case, but that’s too risky. This is a game-changer! It comes with a magnet you can stick directly to the back of your phone case, which was perfect since my case didn’t already have a magnet. I’m glad I don’t have to buy it separately.

It was a total pain using the built in phone clip. Getting the weight centered just right was a challenge. This magnet coupled with a good MagSafe case is utter perfection. Everything pops right to where it needs to be and no more hassling with that stupid pinch bracket!

I have to remove my phone case, and even then within the DJI app it gives me an error saying that the clamp doesn’t work. Returning it.

Weak magnet
Magnet isn’t strong enough to hold my Samsung S23 Ultra. I have a magnetic arm mount on my car dash that works just fine, so it is definitely the magnet strength.

I do a lot of content creation, and I am constantly looking for accessories that fit my need, especially when it comes to phone accessories for gimbal and tripods. This magnetic plate works wonderfully to convert the DGI gimbal stabilizer into a practical MagSafe holder for my iPhone 12. My iPhone 12 is already equipped with a MagSafe case thatâs built in. So this plate Works perfectly with my phone being attached to the DGI gimbal stapler.The attachment plate itself is great quality. Itâs compact convenient and it works really well. The magnetic hold is just right not too tight not loose at all. A great accessory for anyone who shoots content for social media reels or product reviews.
