Easy and sturdy magnetic phone holder
The magnet is quite strong and can securely hold my iPhone 15 pro in any orientation. Aligning the camera to the center of the lens is quite straightforward and mounting is also very easy. It is a much better choice than any other holders that still use clamps.I was able to use the holder to easily capture a good photo of Jupiter on my phone.

Another Excellent Quality Product from Fanaue!
Fanaue has become my go-to brand for optics/tripod related accessories. This is an excellent design that allows for easy alignment and securely holds the phone in place. It is built to last with a solid machined aluminum body. Attaching my phone to a spotting scope is no longer a chore. Iâm so thankful I found this!

Sturdy metal
This appears to be made of cast aluminum – it’s not heavy but is quite sturdy. No flimsiness or bending. On one side it clamps onto your telescope (or binocular etc) and the other side has a magsafe mount, which also has an adjustable screw (so you can control the positioning relative to the eyepiece). The mount itself has a very strong magnet – very similar to car mounts I have. No worries about my phone falling off. It works with my S23 that has a magsafe compatible case. This also does come with a magnet ring sticker for if your phone/case doesn’t support it already.Adjusting your phone to get a good look through a scope will take a bit of work. It’s easiest if you put your camera in manual mode where you can select which lens it uses, as otherwise it may decide it can’t see enough through one of the lenses and switch to a different one (meaning the alignment is off again), which can be frustrating.Once you do get it lined up you can leave the magsafe part tightened – that way the next time you just have to adjust rotation and not distance too.So far it’s working great and is a good accessory.

Can be great or bad, depending on your setup
I ordered this item knowing I could use it with my wifes iPhone 16 but I KNEW that my Android wouldn’t have a problem – at least not mine because I have a case that basically has a magnetic ring in the back just like apple. So, don’t be discouraged if you are an adroid user…just make sure you have a phone or phone case that you can stick to anything metal, and this should work.Overall, this seems like a good product. It is made of some form of light weight metal or aluminum. It fit my monoscope and I think with the wide opening it can fit a lot of different options. Installation is fairly straight forward, you just have to be aware that lining up the phone can be a bit finicky. ESPECIALLY with newer phones. Let me explain:Most phones now have more than one camera. One is for close ups, one is like a zoom and one is for wide angle. To use this effectively, you will have to tell the phone which settings to be on and STAY on it. Because as you move it into place it will try and switch between them depending on what it “sees” which could cause you to never get this aligned properly. Thankfully there’s apps for that, but you’ll need to know about it. Obviously this isn’t the product fault, but, I think they should make you aware…Ok one more “issue”. I wish this had a way to account for eye lieces that are also used for focus or zoom. In my case I could set this up really easy when it was zoomed out, but once I wanted to zoom in, I had to spin the eye piece, so now the phone and this contraption was not only in the way, but also turned with the eye piece. This moved the phone out of place, or it was now upside down, and the image wasn’t turning, so I had to remove the whole thing, and re-do the whole setup process. Somewhat frustrating when you need to be zoomed out to find what you’re looking for then need to zoom in to the object of interest. In the end the product does what it promises to do. BUT beware of where you want to use it, and the downfalls that might come with it. For me, it still kinda works, but was more troublesome that it should have been.

Super easy and nicely made
This makes hooking up my phone to my scope as easy as can be. It all just snaps right together and you’er up and running in no time. Even though it’s a quick setup, it feels very sturdy and like you’re safe to trust your equipment to it–both phone and scope.

Works!
This is much better than other, compression-style phone mounts, as the MagSafe ring gets you 50% the way towards being aligned.I still had to play with how far onto the mount I pushed my phone, but I was able to get it lined up enough to snap a couple photos. I think that this mount, plus a bluetooth capture button, will get you some pretty still astronomy photos.

A better smartphone holder using mag interface.
If you need a smartphone holder to attach to a binocular or monocular and your phone has a mag interface this adapter works great. I have a monular with 30x and it attaches to the eyepiece by a clamp; while aligning the eyepiece to my iPhone lens to get a clear view thru my monocular. My other adapter was a loose fit so would easily fall off the eyepiece. This adapter is a winner. I can now get telescopic pictures or video using my tripod or just from my binoculars anytime.

Very Sturdy
Picked this up as the adapter that came with my spotting scope was plastic and it would easily move about and was hard to line up. This one is very well made and won’t have that problem. Only issue might be that it does cover the eyepiece controls some but think I can work around it. The way the phone attaches is by adhering a metal ring to your phone or case and then a very strong magnet in the adapter holds it on. It’s not a bad solution except it only comes with one ring, so, if you have more than one phone or swap it out you’ll have to see if you can migrate it. I didn’t test it but think the ring is thin enough that it shouldn’t interfere with magnetic charging process.
