Marshall Ferret Litter controls the odor and eases cleanup.
Marshall’s litter works well and I don’t have to worry about the contents harming my fur balls Podo and Kodo.

Started using this about 2 months ago.
I was looking for a better litter for my fuzzy buddies. I have 3 and the other litter I was using was a loose paper litter and resulted in running the vacuum around the cage multiple times a day and just wasn’t doing the job. There was a horrid smell if the litter pans weren’t changed multiple times a day, it wasn’t very absorbent, as mentioned before was very messy, and price kept increasing. So I took to the internet to find a better litter and try to save some money. I had seen this several times at my local pet store and wanted to try it, but the price was absurd. So I read the reviews and checked prices. I found it was cheapest on amazon so I thought I’d give it a try. There is no more multiple daily vacuuming, the smell has disappeared, no more paper towels needed to soak up the left overs, one litter scooping a day instead of 3now, and my fuzzy buddies seem to be happier with it too. It’s a great litter for the price and if you don’t over fill the litter box an 18lb bag will last a while (still have about half of the first bag left and ordered a second). It delivers fast and is a great value. I ordered my second bag on Monday with standard shipping and it will be here on Thursday.

Good for ferrets
I like this over regular cat litter because the ferrets can kick it out of the cage as much. They also think less of it as a toy vs the normal litter. It is more difficult to keep clean because you canât use a normal litter scoop like if you wanted to save litter or sift it. Itâs a lot safer than cat litter because itâs low dust because ferrets have sensitive respiratory systems and are sensitive to dust.

All around good litter
I started using this litter at the suggestion of my local pet store. It has a number of properties which make it particularly great for ferrets:First and foremost it is a non-clumping litter. Ferrets can get major medical issues from clumping litter. And (until the bottom of the bag) it is relatively low on dust. This helps to keep my two little angels from sneezing so much. I also like that there aren’t any perfumes to irritate them. The litter still does a respectable job of odor absorption as long as it is changed at least daily. I also like that the litter is just pressed paper, so about as good for the environment as litter can be.There is one other cool feature of this litter, that unfortunately turns into a negative:They include a toy in the 10-pound size. While this is nice and my girls always enjoy any new playthings, sometimes this toy is a flavored chew toy. Unfortunately, flavored chew toys don’t have the same shelf life as litter. I don’t know if it happened before it was shipped to me or after I opened and started using the litter, but when I happened to find the gift, it was a mass of mold. I had to pull one star off the review for the toy choice. Plastic play things are great, but flavored chew toys are not a good idea for litter. If I could ask the manufacturer to change one thing about this litter (besides the obvious toy thing), I would like to see the bag be resealable. All in all, this is a great litter. I recommend it to any ferret owners and I’m sure it works great for other animals as well.

Great value
It’s the only liter I will buy for my son’s ferret, and I’ve tried several others.

Amazing but true…
After reading the reviews here on Amazon I thought I would give this litter a try. The new ferrets we got were digging and playing in the cat litter I was using and then they would sneeze and cough, not to mention that they got the litter all over the cage! Blech! They do not play in the Marshall Ferret Litter and the smell is amazingly contained. It is somewhat ‘scoopable’ and I just scoop up the dirty litter every other day. Sometimes I even let it go THREE days with very little smell compared to kitty litter!I am sold on this stuff, and I highly recommend it for your little furballs. I only wish I had discovered this with our last pair of ferrets. It would have saved lots of mess as those ferrets we did not cage and so had to have litter pans in almost every corner! We did a lot of vacuumning back in those days, but not any more!I know it looks odd, but strangely enough it works better than traditional litter. Amazing, but true.

Put simply, this is the best litter out there.
This product is made from recycled paper, so not only is it good for the environment, but it absorbs liquid incredibly well. I clean out my ferret’s litter box every morning (mainly because i don’t want him to step in his own mess), and there is never any odor, and it is ridiculously easy to clean. Since this litter is flush-able, i just empty it out into the toilet and flush it away. It has never clogged the drain, and it has made my morning routine MUCH faster. An added plus that you get from it is that you don’t have to stock up on grocery bags to make sure you have something to put the used litter into. My ferret has also not had any respiratory problems in the whole time i have been using this product, as there is no dust or sand/clay in it. Since switching to this brand, he has also stopped digging in his litter box! Honestly, there is no better product out there if you’re looking for odor-masking, absorbent, seemingly-magical litter.

Okay but
Great for ferrets. It’s recycled paper pellets for less mess, less tracking. BUT WAAY OVERPRICED! Have found better pellet litters (although marketed for cats) at much better prices with A LOT less dust at the bottom of the bag. The past 6 months, I’ve been seeing greater amounts of dust and random pieces of recycled plastic. Please look through before putting into pan. Still, ferrets don’t mind it, and it does absorb urine very well.
