Works great
This does exactly what it says. I use it to not disrupt my roommate if I want to watch a late night movie after he goes to bed. Set up was easy and it paired to both my AirPod pros and my over the ear headphones. I donât notice an audio lag.

Long range and low latency with the proper headphones
I purchased this product in order to watch live TV and bluray movies using a pair of Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 headphones Plantronics BackBeat PRO 2 Special Edition – Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones. These headphones use the APTx low latency bluetooth codec, which takes full advantage of this MEE audio transmitter. I can report that the advertised low latency for audio transmission is accurate and fully functional, provided that you have headphones or other audio equipment with an audio receiver compatible with the APTx LL codec.Connection of the transmitter to my audio receiver was done via the 3.5mm audio jack (cable supplied). The transmitter is powered via a USB cable (also supplied). The footprint of the device is relatively small and it sits nicely in my audio cabinet on top of my receiver. The device has an ON/OFF switch, which is convenient to limit wireless signal conflict with other wifi or bluetooth devices in the house. Connecting the transmitter via the audio jack is flawless but a bit inconvenient in the sense that the cable needs to be physically disconnected from the receiver when I don’t want to output the audio to the headphones (my receiver automatically redirects the audio signal from the speakers to the jack when a device is connected to it). The audio is transmitted to the headphones without any noticeable signal distortion or volume loss as I only had to operate the audio receiver with its volume knob at 40% and to fine tune the desired volume level on the headphones. I haven’t verified the maximum range advertised for the transmitter but I experienced no loss or even attenuation in signal in any room in my 2 story house.Overall, an excellent product for the price, as long as the bluetooth receiver in your speakers or headphones decodes the APTx LL codec.

Quiet and low range
This box is tiny and connects well, goes to AptX LL (low latency) if your headphones support it. But the range is about 40 ft.It’s a good product for use with a TV in the same room.

Newest model works perfectly
I have a pair of Pyramid outdoor speakers that I used with a TV headphone output on my porch, but the audio constantly dropped no matter what I did. I fought with it for a couple of years cause I didn’t want to do Bluetooth due to latency issues. I finally broke down and bought this loxally and it actually worked flawlessly! Zero latency, but very expensive at BB. So I ordered a used one here to save money, but it was an earlier version that wasn’t as good with the latency issues, so I sent it back. It would be fine if it wasn’t being used for audio sync with TV. The bar code numbers were a couple numbers off, so I figured the used one was not the latest model. I was always under the impression tgat a hardwire was bettwr than a wirelss connection, but it works very well for connecting a TV headphone output to a set of (BT) speakers and hadn’t dropped audio once!!

Perfect to plug into TV without bluetooth!
Older TV. Using Fire stick for control and MEE optical cable. Works beautifully!

Not a perfect solution, but pretty darn good to allow hearing aid users TV sound access
Kept looking for a solution to let my missus access the TV sound via her Bluetooth hearing aids (the TV didn’t have built in BT) and it was either look for a VERY expensive soundbar with a BT receiver/transmitter or get this unit at a very good price that lets 2 different BT connections work at the same time.

Expensive and OPTICAL/SPDIF connection fails
The OPTICAL/SPDIF connection stopped working after just a couple of months. The audio jack still works, but using it mutes the TV. With the OPTICAL/SPDIF connection, you could use both Bluetooth and the TV speakers at the same time, so it’s disappointing that it failed. I originally bought it for $29, but now the price has jumped to $39, which feels like an unreasonable increase.

Very nice!
This is a good little product at a reasonable price. Perfect for my purposes.Update: I have used these for off and on for a month now and found the following. I received no how to sync instuctions with my package and found they are can be a bit twitchy to initially sync. I have my most rapid sync when I have already have the tv on, then reboot my iphone and earphones while activating the seek button on the black box. I loving the sound quality though my earphones, and the ability to confine the sound to me with the tvâs volume turned off. Great sound for a fraction of what I would have been paying ($300) to buy a similar function transmitter from ResMec, my hearing aid mfgr.

J’ai dû retourner cet article au bout de trois jours, car il n’a fonctionné que durant cette période pour s’arrêter ensuite

The delivered product was missing 2 cables: a digital optical cable and an RCA audio cable. But when set up, there was a very noticeable lag between the broadcast audio from the TV and the audio transmitted to the headphone. I will be returning the product.
