I have insomnia so I thought I would try this rather than sleeping pills. It has 3 layers one to relax, one to fall asleep and one to keep you asleep. It does the job. I take this and I get a decent night sleep. It works for me…

Time release melatonin
Regular melatonin doesn’t work for me as I wake up in the middle of the night. The time release helps to ensure i get a full nights sleep. Highly recommend!

Be Careful
These worked, a little too well. When I take one I will sleep for 16 hours if my alarm doesn’t go off (because the power went out). If I take one and my alarm does go off I’m still a bit groggy all day which is unfortunate. However, the more you take synthetic melatonin the less your body produces naturally and it creates a vicious dependency cycle. I used for about three weeks hoping it could get me on a better sleep schedule, instead when I stopped taking them I stopped sleeping completely. I think these may be good for occasional sleep issues, but I wouldn’t recommend long term. Now I’ve got to figure something else out. Oh, one last thing- they smell like dog poop and they make your hands smell too. If you hold your breath when you pop one in it’s fine. Then just wash your hands. That was a rough lesson to learn lol.

Dogs get dementia and sundowners just as nursing home residents do.
Purchased for my elderly dog. My 25 lb dog is 15 years old. Last fall he started acting very strange in late afternoon and evening. I checked on line and see that dogs also get dementia…Sundowning. He would sit and stare and me and making moaning groaning sounds. Then he would run around the house and come back to me. I checked on line and see that melatonin is ok to give dogs if known drugs are checked. There is a calming drug that dogs can have, and melatonin is ok. This has 10 mg of melatonin, so I cut tablets into 4ths. It did not work, so I cut them into 3rds. He still wakes up once in the night to go outside but then goes right back to sleep. A life saver for him and me to get us through terrible hours. I want him to be comfortable in his late life. CHECK WITH YOUR VET FIRST TO SEE WHAT THEY SAY BEFORE GIVING TO YOUR PET.

Terrible Substitute
For several years now I keep waking up at 2:00 a.m. My doctor prescribed Xanax and it helps put me back to sleep but I’m a zombie the next day. I hate using Xanax but I know I must rest. By accident I stumbled on a product called REMfresh and for the first time in years I was able to sleep past 2:00 a.m. and awaken at 5:00 a.m. To my panicked surprise Amazon stopped selling REMfresh so I did some researching and found out Nestle purchased REMfresh, IB Guard and one other company. I called Nestle to find out when they are restocking REMfresh only to be told they’ve discontinued it and instead are replacing it with Sleep 3. I read the label of this new product so I ordered it. It does not work as advertised. On the days I used this product I had trouble falling asleep (which is never a problem for me) and then I woke up at 2:00 a.m. again. It’s a terrible substitute and did not work for me. I’ve gone back to Nestle asking them to please produce REMfresh again but so far it’s on deaf ears. I so so hoped Sleep 3 would work but, sadly, it does not.
