This Microwave Heating Pad has become a good tool in my pain management toolkit. This 8 x 18 multipurpose pad offers warmth for targeted relief in areas like the neck, shoulder, and back. I haven’t measured it but it seems smaller than 18″ long, and doesn’t hold heat as long as my previous one which was custom made, but still does the job. It could use a little more weight to it as well to ensure proper contact. So not a 5, not a 3, so a 4 but maybe really a 3.8.

I was at physical therapy for neck and upper back pain, and the therapist wrapped a heating pad around my neck and shoulders. It had a strap to fasten it. I was talking to him about getting one, but AI was unable to find one at the site he told me to go to. I found this one on Amazon. I like the “collar” that encircles the neck and the shawl like area that covers my shoulders to get the trapezius muscles on both sides. The back hangs a little low to get the upper part of the thoracic spine, but does not hang all the way to the mid back. (Neither did the one at the therapist’s office. ) It is very nice to sit with it. It stays in place and holds it’s heat for at least 20 minutes or longer. It is easy to heat in the microwave, and has a comfortable heaviness because of the beads which make it stay in place. The hint of lavender is a relaxing bonus. I am well satisfied.

So far, so good. This heating pad gets good and hot pretty quickly. I got tired of burning holes in my microwavable heating pads. The timer is a great addition just in case I leave without turning it off.

good ! I have bought them before and I think they help with stiff neck and achy cervical issues covers a good expansiveI had to put mine in micro or 60 seconds then added a little more. The area and is very relaxing and I am thinking of getting one for my eyes.They always have a fragrance it is okay not too strong I would like fragrance free but that is my preference
