Great for my low porosity hair
I like that it’s made from great ingredients. I was looking for something that had a humectant (e.g., honey) and a mixture to moisturize my hair. I did initially smell the ginger scent. For me, it was practically gone after 30 minutes. The only way to smell it then was to put the hair right up against my nose, and I could barely smell it. The smell was initially strong in that I think I could smell it about an arm’s reach away. I used a lot of the product because I have a lot of hair. I also did not mind the smell, but I’m not ginger adverse.This significantly helped moisturize my hair. It even lasted into the next day, and my hair (like always) had very low porosity.On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being none and 10 being supreme, the hold is about a 5 (moderated by the amount). It works much better than other similar products I’ve used. I think the only two products to do better are an AXE hair paste (9; leaves hair hard), and a Jamaican Castor Oil Strong Hold Gel by Shea Moisture (variable but usually 6). If you look at those products, the contents practically resist movement inside the container when shaking (lol).Overall, this product is very good. Left my hair feeling soft and shiny, and a hold just good enough to allow touching without moving in a light breeze. I will it buy again.

Sensitive to fragrances?
The problem I had with this product is it had a pretty intense fragrance that I couldn’t handle. I think it was a ginger. It seemed to have pretty natural ingredients and the price was good… But the fragrance was off putting to me.

This is sort of gel, sort of frizz control. It smells good & goes onto my frizzy, wavy hair pretty well. Easy to comb through with fingers or a comb. You can use it on damp or dry hair, too. I can just air dry (who wants to blow dry in a heat wave?) then when I comb it later, it comes out soft & wavy. Itâs a good product.

Ich habe Locken im 3b/3c Bereich und der ungewöhnliche Ingweduft ist gewöhnungsbedürftig und nicht so meins. Man hat gar keinen halt und keinen Crunch. Tag 1 Haare Ehebn gut und voluminös aus, aber die Haare halten nicht lange, ab Tag 2 sind sie sehr frizzy und man müsste bestimmt alle 2-3 Tage Haare waschen, was mir zu anstrengend ist und unnötig erscheint, vor allem angesichts des Preises. Für weniger starke Locken ist es bestimmt sehr gut, beispielsweise für Locken im 2er Bereich oder 3a Locken.
