This smart plug has worked flawlessly to turn on and off landscape lights. I really like the auto on feature based on astronomical sunset. I’ll never have to adjust timers throughout the year again. I’ve purchased smart plugs twice the price of this unit and they don’t have this feature and I’ve experienced reliability issues, not this one. The app is fairly intuitive and easy to use. Great product for the money.

Perfect remote solution.
I bought 2 of these and they are perfect. The application is simple and easy to use. Programming just takes seconds, and I love that each outlet can be scheduled individually. Also you can label each outlet separately in the app. I use this year round for outdoor lighting. It replaced the old dial style timer, which would stop if someone flipped the switch off or the power went out. The only downside to this model is the plug/cord is short. An 18â or 24â inch cord would be perfect. I love these so much I bought a third. I run all these in the one app. Iâve not had any problems with connection or functionality at all.

Pretty good
These are slightly more finicky than other brands like Kasa that are more polished, but they work well enough. I used them outdoors for Christmas lights and indoors for some heaters since I had them lying around when the Christmas lights were down. The app is a little less user friendly than it should be and they donât seem to be easily controllable when away from home, unlike Kasa

UPDATED/FIXED: Need to update WiFi to connect with Smart Life
Updated 11/29:I found a suggestion on Reddit to update the radio on 2.4GHz from “802.11b/g/n/ax” to “802.11b/g/n”. That did the trick, smart life discovered and paired to these devices automatically afterward.Original:What a waste of an hour. This is the first smart device that hasn’t worked seamlessly with smart life. I tried everything. Error 3028. Failed to pair device. Tried resets a dozen times. Only pairs with their own app which requires permission to everything, looks just like smart life but doesn’t pair with it. 4 of these piles of garbage are on their way back.
