My New Signature Scent
I have a deep fondness for both roses and for spicy, smokey scents. I also have a very hostile skin chemistry when it comes to fragrances, and most scents – even purportedly strong ones – fade so quickly that I regret wasting my money. So I was wearing Red Tobacco before this, which has this wonderfully deep heat to it, but I wanted something more romantic and definitely more appropriate for all-season wear. Enter Toyboy, which made some bold claims to making a unique, powerful, romantic statement – and all for much cheaper than many other niche fragrances. After using up every last drop of this sample, I can say that it absolutely hits the mark. Toyboy is frequently described unisex, but I would honestly describe it as more bisexual. It is unabashedly bright and floral and feminine, but anchors that uplifting first impression with a dark masculine warmth – a scent for delicate men and butch women, in the best way. Wearing either hat, Toyboy is inviting and playful in a decidedly sexy way, but also deeply gothic and utterly romantic. Past that, the performance is also fantastic. I catch pleasant whiffs of myself hours after application, and I’ve gotten more than a few compliments. This is definitely my new go-to. Also, the funky bottle and vintage leather daddy advertising are tonally perfect for this kind of scent.

If you like the smell of flowers or bushes, buy it, but if not, don’t even consider it, it smells bad. The bear is very pretty but its smell is awful. Very disappointed.

I am planning to buy the 3.4 oz size because the scent is exquisite. However, I am very disappointed with this seller for selling items labeled âsample not for saleâ or âillegal sale.â I donât mind paying for a good product, and this one truly is good, but profiting from a âsampleâ is unacceptable. You should refund every customer, especially when the bottle is marked âillegal sale.â
