Works with the CAT S22 Flip phone
I needed a converter that let me use my wired earbuds with my CAT S22 Flip and this worked perfectly. Had to research if it would be compatible and it is. Been using it nonstop since I bought it a few months ago, no wear or tear and still works awesome so far. Also doesn’t noticeably degrade the sound quality. 🙂

    Works great
Works great for my needs, just remember this is an ANALOG adapter and will not work with most smartphones. But if you need an analog adapter like me this is great!

Did not support the Spint HTC U 11
I am giving this piece 5 starts because its not that I don’t like it but I believe in a honest review. Just because something does not work accordingly does not always constitute a 1 star review. So, with that being said, this did NOT work for my HTC U 11 Sprint device. When I plugged it in the device stated that I needed to input the correct piece into the phone! 🙁 I was so ready to groove to my music! I returned the product for this reason alone. It came as described and with a little wire connector to keep the cords out the way in which I liked! Try t, it may work for you, if not you know what to do! Happy customer just a tab disappointed it didn’t work for my phone when I needed it most in which was to listen to my music on the highway. You live and you learn to keep up better with your belongings!

Fair price and does the job with small drawback
I like the little rubber connector that it came with, helps prevent the previous issue I had where I lost my dongle. I’m using this with a Sony XZ3 device, and it works pretty well. Only issue I’ve had is that one direction doesn’t play audio clearly and you have to make sure it’s flipped the right direction. It’s a little annoying since it’s USB C and a huge selling point of the connector is using either direction. Otherwise I have no issues with the dongle.

Worked perfectly for about a week
I have a moto z2 force, and I’ve been though a few different brands of these types of adapters since I lost the one that originally came with my phone a while ago. I was hoping that since this is the same brand as my phone, that I wouldn’t have compatibility issues. I have used this adapter everyday for exactly one week, and the sound cuts out or one or both headphones lose partial sound or there’s crackling if you barely nudge it. I have to either not be touching the wire after adjusting it for the sound to come through (which is okay if I’m at my desk), or hold my phone at a goofy angle when that’s not possible (I walk everywhere and always have my headphones in) which even then doesn’t always work. I don’t know if I just got a dud, but this seems to happen with every single one of these adapters I get across a range of brands and prices so maybe a shitty lifespan for USB-C to 3.5mm adapter is just inevitable.

Solid genuine Motorola adapter for headphone use
The adapter does exactly what it says it will do: it provides a 3.5 mm (1/8-inch) jack for headphone use, by plugging into your phone’s USB-C port. I use this only for the Motorola Z Droid phone, as specified in the product description. I wouldn’t know how it performs with other brands of smartphones. (See the “Questions” section for other users’ responses.)I was hoping the adapter would also serve as an adapter for a microphone with a 3.5 mm plug. Unfortunately, it does not, nor does it claim that capability. In fact, rolling your mouse cursor over the 3.5 mm jack housing in the photo will reveal the embossed “headphone” icon on the housing. In other words, this appears to be a TRS (tip-ring-sleeve) device capable of adapting three lines: left stereo, right stereo, and common. This type of connection is often referred to as a three-pole connection.I wanted to use this to connect my Rode Lavaliere microphone, which requires a TRRS (tip-ring-ring-sleeve) connection, to include the above three lines plus a microphone line. But it doesn’t have that. Please understand that the adapter deserves five stars because it appears to be well-made, it appears to be a genuine Motorola product, and it performs exactly as advertised. The fact that I wanted it to do something it didn’t claim to be able to do is certainly not the fault of the product. I’ve ordered a TRRS adapter through an auction site because I couldn’t find one on Amazon, and unfortunately the product I’ll be receiving is not a genuine Motorola product, so I may keep the Motorola adapter for just for use with my wired earbuds. If you’re looking for a headphone jack adapter for one of the listed brands, this will do the trick. It may be a little more expensive than some of the knock-off products, but it appears to be well-made, and I like the idea of having a well-made product I can count on, rather than having a cheaper poorly-made product I can’t count on. (If I didn’t care if it worked or not, why would I buy it?)Get this one.

The Fujifilm X100V camera supports wired headphones when using this USB-C analogue adapter to 3.5mm stereo TRS socket. The headphone volume of the camera set to a level of 7 or 8 works great with a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50x headphones. I purchased two cables so that I have a spare.

Just got it, works so far, excellent build quality. Let’s see if it lasts more than a week unlike the 4 others I’ve gotten from different companies. Have higher hopes from an American company though. 🙂
