Practical
This is our second baby monitor and our baby isnât even two yet. The first one wasnât connecting to the monitor so we decided to switch to this as it goes to the phones and an iPad. I love how it tells me when our toddler is standing up in the crib. The constant notifications to my phone truly gives me peace of mind. They truly figured out a parents needs and added all the right features. Also love how itâs so easy to just take with you when traveling.

Nanit bundle
I absolutely love this bundle. The camera is very good quality as well as the case! I absolutely love my sound machine. It has so many features such as setting routines, many different sounds, and custom or lots of color options for the nightlight. The only issue I had with this product was it came linked to an account but the support team found no account so I was directed to higher up support and they resolved it immediately.

When it works, itâs a great product, but cannot be depended on
BLUF: Functionality is great but camera frequently disconnects, making the system totally useless and customer service response to issues is dreadfully slow.Pros: The camera system is fantastic when it works. The image is clear and the audio comes through nicely. There isnât nearly as much of a delay as I thought there would be with the WiFi-based system either. The app is well-designed and easy to use. The notification system for sounds and movement also works well.Cons: The system only works about 70% of the time. The camera frequently struggles to connect when opening the app or is extremely delayed in connecting. This obviously causes concern that the notification system isnât working correctly when not actively monitoring the app. There is also a common problem where the camera totally disconnects from the app and you canât reconnect it. This has been an issue for months but Nanit has failed to offer an actual solution. We lost use of the camera for over a month because it would not connect. Also, the base and camera do not properly connect, making the camera fall off the base easily. This system is extremely expensive. Based on the issues Iâve had and the price, I would not recommend this product. If Nanitâs customer service was more responsive it would probably change my opinion. However, I submitted multiple customer service requests over the disconnection issues and it took weeks for a response. The response I received was generic and instructed me to try techniques I had already tried (and explained that I had tried in my service request).Again, the camera system works great, when it works. The main issue is I feel uncomfortable depending on the system when it comes to the safety of my child.

The quality on the camera is amazing, the app and its analytics are a huge time saver, and Iâm obsessed with the smart outfit recognition that gives me peace of mind to track babyâs breathing. Love love LOVE this.

Great for picking up sound
Has a super sensitive mic which is awesome! You can literally hear your baby breathing. The only reason I didnât give it 5 stars is I think itâs a bit overpriced and wish it was 4k especially for the price you are paying. If you zoom in a lot, the quality will be greatly diminished. Other than that, we love this camera.Btw if you want to take full advantage of all the features on the camera; you will have to get a paid membership.

Best baby monitor EVER
I went through FIVE different baby monitors and finally bought the Nanit. Itâs truly so amazing Iâm able to see my baby or her room from virtually anywhere with the app and can finally sleep in peace without the bright loud typical baby monitor sitting next to me. PLUS I was able to get her first laugh recorded on it and saved to my phone which was so special. Highly recommend if youâre even considering purchasing it!!!

Not for use on Unsecured Networks.
Cannot connect to an unsecured WiFi network common to hotels around the world. Nanit claims the reason is for security purposes but offers suggestions to setup your own secured network such as a mobile router or hotspot. The temperature reading on the camera are also off by as much 5 degrees. Attempts to resolve by replacing base were ineffective. I own two of these expensive cameras. First time taking our baby on vacation and found out about the inability to easily connect to the hotel WiFi at the resort. Work around was to leave a mobile phone in the room as a hot spot. One star removed for each problem, another star removed for price and company advertising a product for travel use without clearly disclosing restrictions to potential buyers.

I use this for my spouse who has dementia. It allows me to get up early and go to my home gym for a much needed ME time workout and I can watch his movements: sleeping. If he gets up out of bed I can talk to him and tell him Iâm on my way to help him. If im not monitoring him I will get a notice about movement detected so I can then go to the app and see whatâs going on. Itâs been invaluable for my ongoing self care on this journey of the long goodbye.

The product description says 1year of insights are included. Turns out they’re not…and even if they were, the app don’t provide insights if you use the Flexi stand (which is what is included in the box).Poor (misleading?) labelling…the product is NOT what the description says.

TLDR: This is a garbage product. Avoid.I bought this camera with high hopes and even subscribed to their rather expensive analytics service. Heck, I even bought the carrying case!Unfortunately, the temperature sensor only worked about 1 in 10 days and the sleep tracking stuff was totally wrong/useless. The flex stand would disconnect periodically unless I had it propped in a super specific way, which meant that it would just randomly not be working–not a great feature in a baby monitor (!?!).I cancelled my subscription after a month, but was still billed for the year… It still worked as a high quality (if now quiet overpriced) monitor except when the flex stand disconnected randomly, until I tried to bring it on vacation with us. After trying to connect to a new network at vacation rental, the unit just stopped connecting to anythjng. I tried resetting it and nothing happened. I tried calling and was on hold for 1.5 hours before I was played an automated message saying I should email them. I emailed them and I still haven’t heard from them after 2 weeks. I am now looking at buying a new monitor. This is an absolute garbage product. Avoid.
