The box they came in was very cheap and flimsy…no wonder 4 of them were broke. Just spend the extra money and try a different company. It did come quickly however lol. –

Exhaustive text on herbalism
The book opens by looking at what herbalism is and how the Native American nations connected it with spiritualism. This was interesting to read. Then the author gives a list of the top used herbs. Here we get a drawing, description, and what they can be used for. This a good summary of the most useful elements. But, there is a more exhaustive list in alphabetical order of herbs and plants and what they can do, where to find them , etc. I liked that the author also has alphabetical lists of ailments so you can find information that way as well. THere is information on how to store the herbs and how to use them. There is a lot of information here and I learned a lot.

Good info, but repetitive
A collection of a multitude herbal remedies from different sources. Each source material is basic and small. Many of them repeat each other. Thought it would be more varied and set up more like an encyclopedia.

Great Information
I really like this book and all the information it has. I do wish there were color or real pictures to help identify some of the plants, but I bought a different book to help with plant identification. I’m happy with this purchase.

Little to no information
Purchased and almost immediately returned.I could not recommend this book to anyone. Even if they are just starting their journey into herbalism and natural medicine. This book contains very little information regarding any plants and herbs that is referenced. What you receive is a general statement of the flora. Little to no cautionary notes, the recipes are generalized, etc. It’s almost as if the information presented in this book was derived from cliff notes from wikipedia. If you truly want to gather an understanding of plants and natural medicine, then id recommend starting with the works of John Slattery, Charles Kane, or Michael Moore.

A collection of 13 books dedicated to alternative medicine and herbalism. I am a fan of natural remedies which, when I can, I prefer to traditional medicine, and the Native Americans were great experts on medicinal herbs. In the book we find a list of all medicinal herbs and their healing properties, tips on how to grow a vegetable garden at home. In addition, there are many recipes for making healing remedies, compresses, herbal teas and oils. It is a veritable encyclopedia of natural remedies.

I’m not saying this book isn’t worth it. Just saying this book seems to be an AI generated book of books. So just make sure what you read is accurate

I was initially skeptical, but a friend advised me to read this book and I was very fascinated by it. Natural remedies have an ancient tradition, since the American Natives precisely. The guide is very complete, the suggestions to use herbs such as to take care of small health problems are really many.
