How to wash my trigger thumb splint?
To ensure that the adhesion of the three Velcros patch on the thumb support sticks for a long time, we recommend a gentle hand wash with water and neutral detergent after attaching the Velcro patches (see the accompanying instructions for details).
Do the straps ending in the palm interfere with hand use?
In most cases the straps wrap around the back of your hand rather than the palm, so it does not affect the movement and use of the hand. If your hands are very slim, you can loosen the straps slightly.

Comfortable, functional & cute!
I purchased this brace for De Quervain’s tenosynovitis. The brace I received at my doctor’s office didn’t provide enough support and was too large, so I needed one that worked for me. So far, this one has been great!â Very comfortable fit – There are three adjustable straps ensuring a proper fit. I can get the firm support I need without feeling like it will cut off my circulation.â Breathable – The fabric is gentle and breathable, so my hand doesn’t get sweaty.â Cute – The pink color is true to the picture and looks good. It isn’t so obviously a medical device and has a more sporty appearance. Even once I no longer need it for this condition, I’ll probably use it for support when at the gym.â Actually works – Unlike some other options, it’s actually allowed my tendon to rest and heal. The fit keeps me from twisting my thumb or my wrist, and it’s already feeling much better.â Still functional – Some of my work involves typing. This brace is designed properly so the fingers are free, making keyboard typing really easy.

Very comfortable, washable, and easy to put on and take off.
It fits well. The only thing I don’t like is the stretchy strap around my wrist. The velcro sticks so well and the strap is so stretchy that it’s hard to get it to let go. I solved that problem by attaching the velcro end of the strap to the palm mesh which has no velcro. It still sticks there very well but comes off much more easily. It’s a very comfortable brace and washes well.

Good support
Like the thumb support it provides and that it can be used for either hand. Like the color too. The velcro for the thumb is wearing out and doesnât stick well anymore. The middle strap holds well. The strap at the wrist is very strong. I have arthritis in both hands so I either have to ask for help with removal of the strap around the wrist or use my teeth. Just a small challenge for me but overall it provides support I need.

The velcro is too effective!
A pickle jar and I had a confrontation, and both of us lost! I ended up eventually going to physical therapy for quite a long time (it’s still not quite right). On my first encounter there, my PT told me to order a wrist brace. I ordered this one and was happy for its quick delivery. But when my PT saw it, he told me to order an additional one for nighttime use – this one is good for daytime use, allowing the hand to be used and be supported, but the second one I ordered (another brand) had more support above the wrist to keep my hand immobilized through the night. Having both braces enabled me to compare their features. Both are supportive and satisfactory in most respects, but the Velcro closures on this brace is much too effective! I’ve literally had to ask someone else to pull the Velcro away so I can take the brace off. If I try to do it myself, I end up pulling so hard that the brace shifts around and irritates the spot on my wrist that is most tender. I hope the manufacturer takes this feedback to heart.

Very happy with this brace
I was initially a little skeptical about purchasing this CureCare Updated Thumb Brace. But, I’m so glad I decided to try it. It’s much more comfy than the one from the doctor’s office, or the highly expensive ones from the medical supply. It doesn’t cause discomfort for me anywhere. I’ll likely buy a couple more. I’d encourage other arthritis sufferers to give it a try!

Remove the Splint
This support fit perfectly for my needs. I only needed it to sleep with to rest my CMC joint arthritis / thumb. I did remove the one splint to avoid pressure on the joint. But it fit very well in the webbing between the thumb and the finger and overall was comfortable and supportive to sleep with. I could still use my fingers. Would definitely recommend. On a side note, it’s a very soft pretty pink. A nice upgrade from the plain black ones on the market. Velcro was very strong.

Ne bloque pas les mouvements non plus, parfait pour ce que j’ai mais peut ne pas convenir si vous avez besoin d’être complètement immobilisé pour une fracture par exemple. Disons que c’est utile pour ne pas faire de faux mouvements douloureux, très bien pour dormir aussi, je me réveille sans aucune douleur.C’est le deuxième que je prends ( j’en ai un pour le sport, ça laisse le temps de sécher la transpiration )convient pour main droite et gauche, j’ai des poignets normaux en taille, me va parfaitement, c’est réglable donc je pense que ça peut convenir à beaucoup de tailles différentes.Je ne laisse pas souvent de bons commentaires car on achète souvent des choses inutiles ou nulles ou carrément fragiles et mal faites, là c’est vraiment bon, ça fait le job et agréable à porter, je recommande à 100% et jâespère ne bientôt plus avoir à l’utiliser, c’est en bonne voie grâce à cet achat 🙂
