learned sooo much
This is a great informative book on digestion, and specifically women’s issues regarding the subject. I have had issues since I had to have a hysterectomy 3 years ago. two months after the surgery my digestive issues started and were on-going. I saw specialists and had various tests and colonoscopy done. All said”it looks fine”… this book gave me the explanation of what is probably the cause of my issues, AND, how to go about improving it. I am happy to say that with some minor adjustments to my food and supplement intake and increasing the right exercise, I am “almost” back to normal. for me, it’s worth its weight in gold!!!

A MUST HAVE for anyone with digestive & liver issues
I borrowed this book from the library and read it cover to cover. I liked it so much I want to keep it so I bought a copy. Very useful and informative information. It has really helped me understand my health issues better and what changes I still need to make in my diet.

Book with some good suggestions.
I enjoyed readig the book. Much of it I already knew from all the reading I do on this subject. It is a good read, yet I find the author seems to waver away from the subject at hand. Perhaps it’s because I have read so much about this subject it did not hold as much attention as I would have wanted it to.

No More Digestive Problems
I am a retired nurse and I thought this book was very well written, covered many areas of digestive problems, was easy to understand at all levels, and gave very good solutions. The author had a good sense of humor while dealing with some delicate female subjects. I would recommend this to anyone that has digestive problems.

Excellent reference guide for women
Covers the gamut of subjects women wonder about…excellent reference book. She goes into detail which is very helpful. I gave several copies to friends.

waste of money
If you are a middle age woman who has been seeking answers and looking at various solutions for awhile, you may find this book a waste of time as well as money. Along with the author’s condescending style (she only has a little tummy pooch so she’s learned how accept a bit of imperfection—why can’t everyone else??) based on her own lack of problems (especially, but not exclusively, weight issues), the best information she can offer is how to go about looking for the right doctor who will help you. Not much self-help advice which is what I was seeking. Do you need to buy a book to tell you to go see a good doctor? I broke with tradition and thought there might be help from someone who’s research was not based on their own experience—I’m disappointed here.
