Highly recommend these, easy to give!
Got these for my dog due to his rising levels with kidney function. I am happy with the results as is my vet. They dropped over a few months of use. Also very happy my dog loves these. I add them to his food and he has never had any issue. Definitely recommend.

    Works
Our vet recommended this for our wire haired mixed breed dog. He was always itching but his skin looked good- she said it was likely that his own fur was making him itchy because of how coarse and prickly it was. Within 2 weeks of giving this to him just once a day his fur was noticeably softer and by the end of the month his itching has stopped. Highest recommendation from us.

Capsules all stuck together in one giant blob
Updated 11/2/24 – Nutramax never replied to my email, but I called them and explained the problem. They asked me to send my order info and some photos of the bottle (upside down), and they sent me a replacement bottle right away. This is a great product, and it helps my dog a lot. Amazon just apparently has a problem with storing it, since multiple people have had this issue. I’ll be ordering from Chewy instead, but I recommend the product and appreciate their customer service.9/25 – I’ve had good results with this product in the past, but just received a new bottle, and all of the capsules are stuck together in one giant blob. I can’t get a single pill out of the bottle. Amazon says this item can’t be returned or exchanged, so I tried emailing Nutramax directly to ask about a replacement. But they didn’t bother responding. Disappointed at the company, the waste of money, and the loss of a good product for my dog’s health (because I’m obviously not buying more). Bad experience all around.

    Recommended by Vet
My little dog is 20 pounds and just about to turn 13 years old. She already takes Cosequin for joint health and her vet recommended this product as well. It is very easy to use, she takes it with her food. It is a soft gel, slightly sticky, she tolerates the taste and it seems to be a decent value for the money.

Great Supplemental Health for Your Dog
My dog’s doctor prescribed this product for our dog – 75 lb. Golden Retriever. This is recommended as a health supplement. The product contains Fish Oil which contains Omega 3 fatty acids. These are good for dogs overall health just as in humans. In fact they look exactly the same as I take but I am sure they are made for dogs. The cost including tax equals about 16 cents a pill. I must give my Golden Retirever 2 soft gels per day because of his size. Smaller dogs only required 1 pill. My dog will only take this pill with a Greenie pill pocket. If you and your dog are good at giving and taking pills. respectively, you may not need pill pockets. The first time my Golden took the pill, he spit it out quickly. I think the texture was the problem. He takes the pills with pill pockets without any problem. My dog’s health has seriously showed signs of improvement. His coat is beautiful and shiny. Also he seems to be active all the time like he feels good. I also give him a probiotic for his “gut health”. Both combine keeps him happy and healthy. My last bottle is $17.99 a bottle of 120 soft gels ($19.39 including sales tax for Florida). I have this product on subscribe and save.

    Cost effective
My vet recommended this product after both my dogs had been on apoquel for years. With this product, both dogs were able to stop taking the very expensive medications.

    Great product but unusable
These caps are so much easier to use than the bottle of liquid Welactin except the capsules have all been stuck together in the last couple shipments. Despite lots of effort, they couldn’t be separated and therefore are not usable. We will try to find them locally to see if the problem is heat during shipping. Our dogs take them easily and don’t mind them.

My two dogs love their softgels and even my kids ask for them cause they think they taste yummy! My vet recommended them for my senior dog with join1t pain, and I saw an immediate improvement in his coat and behaviour so I started giving to my puppy as well. Great product, happy doggies

My dog takes them easily in his food. His skin seems to be improving. Does not smell like fish oil.
