I like these
I am on my third bag of these. I was giving my Labradoodle liquid Omega 3 which I agree with others, that was a messy way to give O3. These are alot easier to use. My vet recommended this brand. My doodle was licking his paws and started showing allergies and I didnt want to give him rx meds. These seem to be helping. No more paw chewing. His coat is so soft and this appears to help with matting. I only give 1 per day in his dinner. That is below the dosage.

Great results for my dog
My vet recommended Welactin for my dog’s joint issues. I tried the liquid version at first, but it didn’t agree with my dog’s stomach. I decided to try these before giving up, and am glad that I did. My dog is pretty small, so I cut all of the “treats” in half when I first get the bag and then give him one half for every meal. I just stick it in his food and he gobbles it right up. It doesn’t smell good to me, but he loves the smell!The only drawback is that the treats are very firm and large. You need a sharp knife to cut them in half, and it still takes a little force. If you give these Welactin treats to your dog with meals, you’ll probably want to cut the whole bag in half at once and keep them in an airtight container so they’re ready to go when you need them. And still, if your dog is pretty small, half of each Welactin treat is pretty large. While my small dog would probably swallow the entire city hole if he thought it were food, I still feel a little nervous giving him such a firm hard treat of this size. But he’s been taking these for almost a year without issue, and his coat and joints have never been batter.

He wonât eat dinner until we add his 1.5 squares to his bowl. Theyâre soft enough to break in half for medium sized dogs. I have these on subscription because I think my dog would food strike forever if we stopped serving them.

Works good if your dog can chew itâ¦
It worked well on the one dog that could chew it. It was too hard for the other dog to chew (same age and breed) so I had to break it up in pieces, and that was not an easy feat. These things do not come apart easily and will make you hate yourself every single day for ever choosing to buy them until they are gone. These âchewsâ are hard from the start upon opening the factory package. They do work really well if your dog can eat them, but so does the oil from the same company. Iâll stick with the oil. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that these chews smell absolutely horrible too.
