A Smooth Protein
Nutricost Grass Fed Whey Protein Isolate is an excellent product. When it says Unflavored, it means Unflavored. There is no taste at all. So blend it in with your favorite smoothie, for example. It is really a smooth powder and mixes very well. The ratio for me is one part whey protein isolate with four parts hemp hearts protein, plus whatever creative ingredients I wish to add. It always comes out really creamy with a very nice texture. I am trying to increase my muscle mass, so I guess it would be better if I used more whey and less hemp, but it WILL happen anyway; it will just take more time for that goal to be met since I am careful about not too much dairy (people’s needs vary, of course). And the price is very fair. The only ingredients are whey protein and sunflower lecithin, and that is way cool!

Good Value and Quality
I have been taking this protein 1-2scoops daily for the last 3 years you really can’t beat the price for being a grass-fed whey isolate without low-quality added ingredients. It tastes as good as unflavored is going to taste and I usually add it to smoothies or cereal, helps me hit my protein intake goals.

So Far So Great! Smooth and Tasty
I am a crazy researcher and this protein powder search was no exception. I didnât like the grit of the Sprouts pea protein powder I tried and I loved Bobâs Red Mill whey concentrate but I was pretty sure it was contributing to my possible lactose-intolerance stomach issues. What I like about this isolate one:Even though there were some lumps the shaker way (vs blender), it was still tasty even if I chewed on a lump. And zero grit. And whey, I read, is supposedly better for bones than pea protein. And whey isolate (vs concentrate) is typically easier on the stomach for lactose intolerant folks. And this unflavored version has zero sucralose/stevia. And the lecithin in this one is sunflower vs soy lecithin. The sunflower lecithin (vs soy lecithin) might help lower bad (LDL) cholesterol, I read, and, I figured hey, why not go for it if I have the choice over soy, even though soy is low risk. Oh yeahâ¦and the isolate form (vs concentrate form or pea protein) has more protein per gram of powder, at least as far as what Iâve read and seen. This isolate one ends up 30 g of protein in a 35 gram scoop. =.85g protein per gram of powder. ð The Sprouts vegan gave 20g protein in a 31 g scoop. =.64g protein per gram of powder.Did I just about cover all the factors?ð

Sweet, but good. Watch serving size!
This is a great quality protein with clean ingredients thatâs sweetened with stevia, as I prefer. I do think the chocolate variety is too sweet, though, so I mix it with the unflavored whey. One important note is that the scooper included Is not equal to the serving size; it really should say âvery heapingâ scoop. I always recommend weighing new protein powders with a kitchen scale to have a better idea of the serving sizes.

Itâs so tasty! I canât believe it
I used to hate whey protein, but I realized it wasnât the protein itselfâI hated: ⢠The fillers ⢠The overpowering sweetness of artificial sugars ⢠The fake overpowering flavor ⢠The thick, unappetizing texture when left sittingBut! This whey protein is completely different: ⢠No weird fillers or artificial taste ⢠I mix it with plain milk, and it tastes like dried milk powder ⢠Naturally sweet, smooth, and deliciousâtaste exactly as it should, milk. ⢠I absolutely love it!Iâm not going backI tried Optimum Nutrition (many flavors) and they all suck, even the vanilla one, make me want to throw up. Thatâs the reason I got this one, and was the best choice

Just wow, very pleasantly surprised
Iâve tried various protein powders and this broke the rating scale on taste, mixing, cost effectiveness, and supposedly health. I donât know too much about âhealthy powdersâ but I was looking for a powder with simple ingredients and that led me to nutricost. Theyâve earned my business 10x over. Excellent product, highly recommend.
