Really works!
I have a very dry mouth and used to wake up several times during the night due to discomfort or coughing due to dry throat. I have now used them for at least 5 years and donât wake up due too those annoying problems. You simply tuck one along your upper back teeth. It settles there nicely and keeps my mouth moist throughout the night. I recommended them to a friend. The next time I saw her the first thing she said wasâthey really workâ! I have mentioned these to my dentist who is very supportive of using them. No sugar to worry about. And because they stimulate saliva they are good for your teeth. These Xyli-melt Dry Mouth stick-on melts work beautifully, all night long! Itâs hard to believe something like this would affect oneâs life so much, but youâve ever had severe dry mouth at night, you know how aggravating it is to need to drink water all night long and how distressing it is to constantly have âsandpaper tongue!â My mouth would literally be bone dry 30 seconds after drinking a full cup of water.I tried mouth taping, all kinds of âdry mouthâ mints and rinses, Iâve tried a probiotic drink/swish before bedtime, even chewed a fermented hot pepper, and many more suggestions but none of them worked.The usual dry mouth lozenges were a choking hazard in my opinion, but I still tried them, and those just dried up in my mouth. Oddly, I donât ever have a dry mouth during the day. The problem started at age 60 and adversely affected my sleep and mood for at least a year until I found these. I canât even express how happy I am to have found them!! Just stick one anywhere against your gum and it will stay there. In the morning, thereâs just a tiny bit left and your mouth will still be moist. The taste is negligible, very very faint mint flavored. Absolutely worth the money!

These are amazing! I have several medications that I take and they leave me with a very dry mouth at night. I use these and do they ever help!! They are fantastic! They adhere to your mouth as they very slowly dissolve so they help keep your mouth moist all night. Best product that I have tried for this issue.

Not as effective as other options.
I probably should have read more when I bought these. I assumed it was just going to be mints that I chew or quickly dissolve. That’s not the case. These are meant to be placed somewhere in your mouth where, by design, it’ll create a strong suction force and slowly dissolve from there. This spreads a xylitol coating across your entire mouth over about an hour. They also suggest using them overnight while you sleep.The xylitol coating tasting isn’t nasty… but it’s not tasty either. It takes a lot longer to kick in and isn’t as potent as other options. The ACT gum is far superior in my opinion. Both are almost the same price point. I chew one piece of gum and my dry mouth is gone immediately and stays gone for hours. It also has a fresh mint taste to it.I’m not sure how this one became the best seller. It’s less effective, takes longer to kick in, and doesn’t last any longer than other options. Also not the best taste + pieces of the mint will be stuck and you’ll have to manually remove the suction to get rid of it if you don’t want to wait another hour for it to dissolve.I think I’ll stick to my mouthwash and gum combo from now on. But I have a bunch of these… maybe I’ll see how effective chewing them are. Might take a higher dosage but at least it’d be less annoying.

The last two nights I’ve had Xylimelts….and I have NOT had dry mouth. This wasn’t just a minor problem, It has been ruining my sleep for months. A counselor suggest something she”d heard about. Nearly Perfect Nightime Dry Mouth Relief
I’m so surprised most medical and dental professionals I know are unaware of this genius product. It safely adheres to the gums for relief through most of the night (which is the only reason I called this “nearly perfect”). As I have Sjögren’s, this is so important. I’ve tried so many products…dry mouth mouthwashes, toothpastes, gels and sprays, but NONE of them have worked for more than minutes. I get a consistent 5-7 hours relief while sleeping, which is wonderful. No more waking up every 30-60 minutes to the awful sensation of my tongue sticking to the roof of my mouth. A bonus is that Xylitol makes your mouth more inhospitable to bacteria growth on your teeth which can lead to decay. Buy it!

Huge relief for nighttime dry mouth
These have finally let me sleep again. I’ve developed bad dry mouth as a side effect and it was keeping me up all hours of the night. These tablets keep my mouth hydrated enough to sleep through most of the night. They last probably about 6 hours or so at night (for me). They stay where they’re supposed to surprisingly well and when I wake up for other reasons in the middle of the night, the tablet is always where I put it before falling asleep.One tip: if you put it too far forward in your mouth (close to your front teeth), it can make you drool while you sleep. I’ve been putting it closer to my back teeth and that seems to work well.

I have used Xylimelts every night for a few years now, and they work on my dry mouth.The best thing is that they stick to your mouth so there’s no risk of swallowing it or choking on it while you’re sleeping. That way I sleep better during the night. It’s worth the price.
