What do we do?

Santevia creates quality water filters, optimized for health. Our catalog of at-home and on-the-go-filters are designed to create a smooth and delicious taste.

How are we unique?

Ordinary water filters remove essential minerals that your body needs. Santevia creates healthy water by adding back minerals like calcium and magnesium to support your optimal health.

How did we start?

The first Santevia product was developed to help combat co-founder David Anderson’s chronic acid reflux. Since drinking Santevia water and improving his diet, David no longer suffers from chronic acid reflux.

MINA Alkaline Pitcher

Our two-stage filter echoes earth’s natural mineral filtration to give you water that tastes refreshingly smooth.

Gravity Water System

The Gravity Water System gives you the highest level of filtration, which delivers an incredible taste.

Water Bottle Filter

Create chlorine-free, mineralized alkaline water wherever your day takes you.

Bath Filter

The Santevia Bath Filter provides chlorine-free bath water, infused with minerals to nourish your skin and hair.

Santevia Gives Back

We believe clean drinking water is a right that is sadly not available to all. We’re on a mission to change this.

Every MINA Alkaline Pitcher and Gravity Water System sold gives 100 days of clean drinking water to communities in Uganda living in water poverty.

Our giving goal: 100,000 years of clean drinking water by 2030.

Total Dissolved Solids

Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) is a commonly misunderstood unit of measurement. Whenever TDS is measured in a body of water, that reading not only includes impurities, but also healthy materials that should be in your drinking water, such as calcium and magnesium. Drinking water with 0 TDS is actually unhealthy, since this means that your water has none of the essential minerals that your body needs.

    Works amazing!
I love this bath filter. My entire family has extremely sensitive skin and we have very hard, harsh water where we live so I have been searching for a bath filter for a while. As soon as I used it the water felt softer, my skin felt better, and all of my family finally didn’t break out from our water. Our skin issues include eczema and hives and the hard water would make it so much worse but with the use of the filter we have had no issues pop up. It also has a Velcro strap that goes around the faucet and allows all the water to be filtered unlike some of these ball filters where only half the water would get filtered.I would highly recommend buying this.

    To the one star reviews
I wish you could mark reviews are not helpful because sooo many people in these comments are unaware of how water filtration works, the actual design of the bag, and to remove the plastic zip tie to optimally fit the faucet head. The bag is not ripped, it is irrelevant that the fabric is open to view the sponge. Yes it might look like you all got a sponge and rocks because you did. Look at what you order before you buy and understand it. Rocks create an area for the microbes to bind, and these microbes break down organic matter including chlorine. Rocks (certain kinds not mentioned in the claims of this product) have abilities to collect heavy metals as well. Rocks traps sediment and activated carbon also functions as a remover of chlorine. You might be best to create your own filter using various stones as well. And you are joking if you think a plastic sponge is going to get you totally compromised when most likely your laundry water travels through lead and micro plastic filled pipes, all day long. And half your clothes, rags, blankets, pillows, mattresses, come covered in these things as well. Plastic being the actual fibers used. If your complaining about plastics then you should be so strict as to never buy from Amazon all together, tagged along with its carbon footprint by shipping to your house alone. It’s about the big picture, and if you want to complain, you don’t know enough to make your own simply out of rocks alone, which would work. So either make it, research what you buy, or love the product for what it does do. Test your water levels. Find proof for yourself. As for the filter, it works when you use it correctly. Let it dry out completely to avoid mold. Hope I covered it for those that left one star reviews from their own ignorance. Making your own filter would be best because yes, I don’t know what kind of rocks are guaranteed inside but it functions as it states.

Faulty making. Zip ties inside material not stretchy material to fit faucet.
I would not recommend this. It doesn’t fit a standard faucet…has a zip tie stitched inside that prevents it from going over faucet…luckily my last bag from a different company was still good so I switched the insides out and put them in old bag and threw this one away. Don’t buy. Waste of time.

    Not great
It’s easy to use and I thought it did ok till i boight another faucet filter. This one is ok at first couple weeks, and then the water started to turn Back like before, But i just used only for my baby bath every day. I changed to another one after purchased this two times, and found out other one works longer and cheaper.

Easy, effective, and not made of plastic!
This fits in my Moen bathtub faucet, which curves and is only barely flared towards the nozzle, so that’s quite an accomplishment. It does a very good job of filtering out my bath water, which is also saying something. We have extremely hard water where I live, and it seems to affect people’s health, if you get me. But this filter, it actually leaves the water soft and light. I can feel the difference, I use way less soap and shampoo, and my skin doesn’t break out!*The only two things keeping this from being a five star review are the flow and the smell (when it’s new). The flow is a minor annoyance – water seeps out of the bag everywhere, like you’d expect, and just sort of dribbles down the tub wall and over the emergency drain before filling the tub. The smell when this thing is new is particularly bad – it has a certain “burning hair” quality, but that goes away completely after two tub fills, and it doesn’t seem to bother anyone but me.For the money and the convenience, this is an excellent filter that really does its job. What’s more, it’s just a cotton bag with some velcro and some wire. I don’t feel bad about replacing it, because I’m not throwing out a big wad of plastic every couple of months.* Just adding this for other people who are like me. I have MCAS, so my skin breaks out at the drop of a hat, or a couple drops of heavy minerals. I can’t really take showers thanks to some other health issues, so if you have MCAS or mastocytosis and you’re looking for a way to make your bathwater gentler without a softener system, this might work for you!

Great product, need to be replaced about every two months!
This is a great product that really helped prevent my baby’s skin from breaking out during baths. He takes a bath every night, and this has been a big relief for his skin irritation. It doesn’t restrict water flow, the color stays intact, and it’s easy to install and remove when needed. While there are a few mold spots on the canvas bag, it’s time for a replacement anyway. Overall, it’s been a very helpful product!

Won’t stay on a flush faucet
I could not for the life of me get this to stay on my bath faucet while the water was running. It has one measly little velcro strap and slid right off every time the water was running. I even tried to run the water at half speed and it still slid right off.I looked at the reviews of people who said it worked and they all had a little button/drain screw on the top of their faucet they were able to put the strap behind. If you have a completely flush faucet with no screw or anything to latch it behind this will NOT work. 2 stars bc I could see this maybe working if you have an additional piece of metal on your faucet like mentioned above.

My 2.5yrs son had a small rash under both his arms. Nothing itchy or red, just small raised/rough patches. We applied various eczema creams but didn’t go too overboard because it was very mild, we just noticed after bath time. It tended to come and go. I myself felt very dry after showers, and my wife’s hair was brittle. My son takes baths but we rinse all soap suds off with a shower after too. We switched to a chlorine filter shower head for my wife and I, and this bath sack thing for my son.So after all this dechlorination, the rough patches are actually gone, and my wife’s hair improved and my skin doesn’t get dry like it used to. Overall I’d say the concept of filtering bath and shower water is definitely possible and products such as this do produce a noticeable effect.I would rate this product highly because although my son gets a quick spritz with the shower, he spends a majority of his time submerged in the bath water. The fact that all the creams failed and his skin improved with no dietary changes seems to say using this product alone does dechlorinate bath water and does produce positive effects for sensitive skin.I give it 4 stars and not 5 because I feel it could be a more accurate and user friendly system (like a Brita filter) so you know when it’s used up and when it’s time to change it. It’s a bit primitive but so far it’s the only product available.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt the need to in this case, as I’ve seen a few negative comments that I’d like to address. Some people use a PPM meter to test the water and claim the filter doesn’t work, but that’s misleading. The filter adds minerals to the water, which naturally increases the PPM reading, this doesn’t mean it’s ineffective. The smell is indeed something that people might find unpleasant, this is likely due to the added minerals. If you’ve ever had natural mineral water (not store-bought), you’ll recognize the scent. If you don’t know what I am talking about, just go to Bad Ems in Germany, and try it 🙂 Btw, the smell faded after 4-5 baths in our case.My only real issue is that the filter doesn’t seem to remove much besides chlorine. However, I have to mention that my child’s eczema completely disappeared within two months of using it.

this item is great, I loved how it added minerals to the bath and I had such a good sleep afterwards. It was noticeable that the chlorine smell was not present as it was before I started using this filter.Having something to fill the bath tub that filters the water is amazing. I have a filter for the shower head yet have been wanting one for my baths too. This is a great product. The only reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5 is because the cloth at the top that essentially is the “lid” for what’s inside pulled away from the edges and now is open after the first use. It’s not a big deal as there is a sponge type material keeping the loose materials inside below that.I recommend this for adult use as well as baby use!
