Great for older dogs. Good for younger dogs.
I used this for the last 4-5 years of a black lab golden mix and it helped her to stay healthy to the ripe age of 16 1/2 before I had to put her down due to hip issues. That age is pretty unheard of for her breed. It helped her to have a great healthy coat and skin but also and iron gut to where she never had any issues in that regard. Due to how well that went after waiting about 8 months after she passed away I got a full bred Golden Retriever and have fed this to him from day one. It’s a bit harder to gauge a puppy on something like this but he has zero issues and is extremely healthy. For those on a tight budget I would definitely recommend giving this a try for an older dog. Though if you can afford it doesn’t hurt to sprinkle a tablespoon of this on their food each day. Just my 2 cents!

I used Ruff Greens for several years, but being retired on limited income, I had a hard time affording it for my four dogs. Then I came across this and after reading the reviews, I decided to try it. My little fur babies took to it right away. I have a cereal container that I have their food in and after I refill it, I shake on a generous amount and then close the lid and shake it up to coat all the kibbles. That makes it easy to refill their dish. They are small breeds, so this works great. I ran out a while ago and hurried to re-order, but they had to go several days without it. I noticed they didn’t eat as much when it was absent as when it was on! They are thriving while using this and no more bad doggy breath! It’s great to know that they are getting the nutrition that they deserve, and their great health is evidence of that. I look forward to having them with us for many more years.

FANTASTIC!
I would NEVER have expected my 2 year old, stubborn, finicky eater of a Sheba Inu girl (my baby) to eat this. This product has COMPLETELY changed our frustrating meal experiences to happy, happy, joy, joy…she LOVES it. No kidding! Her 12 year old brother, a chubby, terrier mix LOVES it too. He has had horrible nasty, gag me dogs farts after his meals. He has been to the vet. We have changed his food multiple times…nothing has helped, UNTIL now. They have just been on this product about a WEEK and already there is a DIFFERENCE in him too. GAS has clearly dissipated. Made both of my dogs extremely ill.
Zero, if I could. This made both of my dogs sick. It gave Lexi diarrhea so bad that it cost me $300 in ruined rugs and a $178 vet bill. Daisy wasn’t as affected. The greens just made her throw up. I’m very thankful that my house is all hardwood with a few runners and door rugs (all ruined) and 2 very expensive area rugs (not touched, only by the grace of God). It also cost me a couple of nights’ sleep. I’m extremely disappointed and saddened by the cost to myself and my poor sick dogs. BTW…it did not hit both dogs at the same time. I quit giving to Daisy because of the vomiting, but continued with Lexi because, at first, no bad side effects. Daisy’s vomiting stopped within 2 days.Then a few days later, Lexi started with the diarrhea. I took her off and the effects lingered for 3 more days until the vet visit and meds.

My big fluffy moron eats it (anatolian/leonberger), which is impressive because she’s a picky girl. Does it work?? Idk. She’s been on it about a month. She is shedding much earlier than usual (she usually starts her shed in May and keeps shedding until it’s time for her winter coat, and yes to the Karens, she is brushed daily) so could be the greens making that happen. Hoping to get a few months of no shed. She still smells but I don’t think there is a thing in the world that could make a farm dog smell pleasant. She used to throw up a lot, not food just bile and the frequency seems few and far between now. I’m assuming it’s the greens helping with that, because we changed nothing but adding greens. No matter what, for the price, she is going to continue to get her greens and hope with a little more time we’ll see more changes and longer life for our fluffy moron.Oh and it must be good because our cats will lick her bowl just to get the remaining powder out. Gotta buy cat greens too.

It made one of my 5 dogs sick
I canât say if I like it or not Iâve only been using it two weeks but all my dogs eat together and one suddenly developed a respiratory infection or cold. I thought that the oozing of her eyes might have been from an allergen, until she started having a runny nose and wheezing. Now sheâs on anabioticâs. It seems to be liked by my other four dogs though. I primarily bought it because they eat so much grass and I know they have nutritional deficiencies because I only feed them dry food. Itâs good to remember what works for some Dogs wonât work for others. All dogs are different! By the time Iâm done with the two jars I bought I will know for sure if it made a difference in their diet & health. Note I didnât start them on the dose, I just sprinkle a tiny bit.

Tried this on older dogs (one had bad liver, other had kidney issues). I think it actually helped them for a few months, but in the end they were both too far gone. I take greens powder daily myself.
