Keeps my dog busy and happy for a bit
This is an easy to manage enrichment item. Dog will easily figure it out without coaching. I have a 17 lb dog so put some kibble, a few small treats, a few tiny dollops of his wet food, sometimes a few smears of peanut butter in random places on the 3 trays. He loves it! He spins the trays licking and looking for the items. He keeps revisiting each level checking to be sure he didn’t miss anything. Keeps him busy for about 15-20 minutes and he goes back to look again if I leave it on the floor. I usually pick it up so he isn’t disappointed when its empty. It’s a little noisy as he rotates the trays and if he paws at it but worthwhile to entertain and treat him occasionally. I’ve even sometimes feed him his whole kibble breakfast in the tray just as a change in routine for him.
Seems pretty durable. Though he paws at it, I don’t see any scratches or marks. It’s heavy enough so my little guy can’t pick it up or chew on it. I’m not sure if a bigger dog could though. I rinse it every few times so it isn’t dirty, etc. So far, I’m impressed with it.

    Great dog puzzle
Love this for my pups! I have Pittie rescues who are getting older so I want to stimulate their brains to keep them sharp in their late years. This puzzle is a great tool. It is very sturdy and heavy with great grips on the bottom so it doesn’t slide around easily. I am very impressed!

Good puzzle but not sturdy. Dog does enjoy it.
I have a 15 pound small dog with lots of energy. We have gotten many dog puzzles from
Outward hound (own at least 4 of them).
The challenge slider: This one is less sturdy than the others. The second time my dog used it and she broke out the pieces and I had to put them all back in together. Not sure how it will hold up in the future. She’s done it now about four times and only broke out the pieces once. I will say my dog is not physically aggressive she did scratch at it to make the pieces move but I don’t feel that she is a very aggressive and her approach on these puzzles she’s not a chew her either. I will say that her nails weren’t groomed at the time so perhaps that led to her getting grip to be able to like rip them upwards and out. Overall I’ve been very happy with the outward hound puzzle products. I like how quick and easy this one was to load compared to some of the others. You can pull out the tray and fill all the treats at one time. Not sure I would buy again just because I have some questions on sturdiness. As far as engaging her, it definitely does the job.
    The brick:
This one is a favorite and my dog has mastered it. She just did it 20 times. I will set the little door flops have separated several times and I’ve clicked them back in okay. Wondered if it will hold up in the future. But it was worth the money.
    The casino:
This is another favorite. I find that I have to lock every other one still even after like 10 times. Or she gets too frustrated. I do like that option that I can slowly lock more and more of them I find if I like them all she just gives up after a while at this point. I would recommend.
    The twister:
That’s why I’m struggling on how to teach my dog to twist the bones to get them to be recessed to get the drawers pulled out. She pulls the drawers out fine if I leave them in the unlocked position. Not sure how this one’s gonna end up working out. She loses interest because she can’t get the doors to open and I’m struggling again to teach her how to twist the bones around. It’s just not clicking. Would not buy again.
    The treat tumble small:
I recommend this one. I do it when she kinda is driving me crazy and I’ll just put her food in it for the day and make her work a little for it.

    Good for active dogs
I have four dogs ranging from 15 to 140 pounds, and all of them can easily use this toy. It is much larger than I expected, but it moves easily enough that my smallest dog, who is 15 and blind but still very active, can still use it. Even if my little guy couldn’t use it, it’s difficult to find food toys big enough for my Saint Bernard to use safely, and this one fits the bill, so that’s a big bonus!
It holds quite a bit of food and the rubberized bottom is a blessing for my sanity (and my tile/hardwood floors. I say it’s good for *active* dogs because not only does this toy require the dog to use their brain to get the food out, they also have to move their body around to find the food that spins out. I know most dogs will just bop it around and the food will fall out close by, but for dogs like my pit bull who must smash everything as hard as possible, flinging food everywhere in the process, this thing holds up and provides a good all around outlet for mental and physical energy.
My only complaint is that the door just sort of sits in there, held in place by a few tabs rotated about a quarter of a turn, making it easy for a pawsy dog like my pit bull to open it accidentally (or an intelligent dog to bite the handle and open it intentionally, which is what my American bulldog did after watching me fill it.)
The holes are also pretty large, allowing a good amount of food to come out of each hole with every push. My dogs are raw fed and do not get kibble so I fill most toys like this with chopped up dehydrated meats and organs. I would imagine that if you use a smaller kibble or anything intended for a small breed, this will get emptied pretty quickly.
Overall, it seems sturdy, holds a lot of food/treats, is relatively quiet, and is large enough for even giant breed dogs to use, so you can’t really go wrong, especially for the price.

    I recommend!
This has been the greatest item! My dog used to INHALE his food but after getting this puzzle feeder, he eats at a normal pace. This has been great for keeping him engaged and is great as a mental tool to keep him from being bored. It’s sturdy, easy to wash and isn’t able to be chewed on due to quality and thickness of the material. I love the bright color of the bowl as well. I would definitely recommend anyone with a pet to buy this!

This is great. I was looking for food toys and puzzles to keep my border collie pup busy and slow down his fast eating. I currently use this daily for one of his meals. He pretty much mastered how to use it the first time, but it does slow him down and makes him work for his kibble for a few minutes.
It’s well made and easy to take apart to wash. Well worth the money.

This puzzle toy is a great way to entertain your dog. After initially being afraid of the noise and movement, my 11 year old Chihuahua now loves it and checks it throughout the day for more food. I spent some time during the first few days to introduce her to the mechanics of the puzzle and slowly increased the difficulty over several weeks. Here are the different levels I used:
    1. Kibble in the hole with the knob covering
    2. Kibble in the hole with the fin covering
    3. Kibble in the hole, covered by the fin, and the knob pushed against it
    4. Kibble in the knob so she has to slide it to the hole and back
    5. Kibble in the knob and the fin covering the hole
She has it mastered now (about 3 weeks total) but I believe she still enjoys the activity of hunting for her food. She’s learned to use her nose and paws together (she really only used her nose before) and has gained confidence not only with the toy but with new situations she encounters (getting around obstacles, for instance).
The toy itself is well made and easy to clean. The pieces seem sturdy but my dog is not a chewer so I can’t speak to that. I have already bought two more products from the same line and am equally as pleased.
