    use every day
    I bought these because I knew I was going on a vacation where we would be whale watching. I wanted to be able to take pictures over the side of the boat without worrying that my phone would be lost in the ocean. The wrist lanyard proved the perfect thing as I could easily keep it hooked on my wrist while using the camera. As a matter of fact, I have kept the lanyard on the phone every day in the 2 years since then . If the phone is not in my purse then it is on the lanyard close to hand when I am out of the house. I never have to worry about losing it and the strap is silky smooth so it feels comfortable on. The pads that hook it to my phone work perfectly and fit between the phone and the case securely.

    Twist string
    Been using for a few months , so far so good. Not sure if it’s intended or not, part of the string is twisted. Doesn’t affect usability.

    >>> SEEMED GREAT AT FIRST
    > For use with a cell phone case (with a closed bottom) only.> Seemed great at first. Well made, rugged. May be good for riding roller-coasters, rock climbing, zip lining, and such — but not so much for ordinary daily use. Probably excellent if you want to wear your cell phone diagonally across your chest, like a purse.> The attachment pads are very interesting. They are “sticky” on smooth surfaces (that is, the back of your cell phone, and the inside of your cell phone cover, assuming that your phone, case, and the pad is clean) — but without adhesive, and just peal off if you want to remove them. The attachment pads do not interfere with installing and removing the cell phone case. The attachment pads alone are worth the price of the OUTXE lanyard. And you get 5 pads, enough for 5 phones.> It is best to wipe the lower back side of your cellphone, and the corresponding inside of your cell phone case with an alcohol towelette first, and try not to foul the attachment pads with finger oils or other “dirt”. Don’t wash the attachment pads (unless you’ve already hopelessly fouled them with sticky ice-cream fingers). Touch the pads with clean fingers only, and as little as possible.> But, in my opinion, for my personal use, the straps of the OUTXE lanyard are too thick, too wide, too stiff, too uncomfortable — particularly if you primarily want to carry your cellphone in a pocket or a bag. I also soon became concerned about the metal fittings scratching my cell phone. It’s too much hardware — with the effect that you’d probably take the lanyard off your phone, and then not have it on the phone when you need it most. The lanyard is too bulky to just keep in a pocket by itself to use “when necessary”. The nice little handstrap only exacerbates the bulkiness problem — which are you going to use? The neck strap?, the hand strap? Both? (Actually probably neither). A better solution, for me, would be a smaller, more comfortable, more subtle (flexible, soft), lanyard that I could permanently install on my phone — especially if the lanyard could double as a wrist-strap.> So, I kept the very useful attachment pads, but replaced the OUTXE lanyard with a “AMUU Lanyard” (search Amzn for “AMUU Lanyard”). No metal parts to potentially scratch my phone. Much more compact, comfortable, and less obtrusive. I usually wear the AMUU Lanyard around my neck ( usually with the phone in my shirt pocket), but if I put away my cellphone in a pants pocket, etc. (or for women, in a purse) the AMUU Lanyard can simply wrap around the phone taking-up almost no extra space. If I’m using my cellphone extensively (e.g. taking photos) I just let it hang from my neck. If you want to keep your phone in your pants pocket, the lanyard can also be looped through your belt to provide extra security. The AMUU Lanyard does not have any clips, nor a breakaway feature — and so, the AMUU protects from accidentally dropping your cell phone, and also protects your cell phone from theft (as long as the lanyard is around your neck or attached to your belt).> CAVEAT — While the “AMUU Lanyard” has a slider for “shortening the lanyard” — the slider is worthless, because it does not stay in place. But you can make a temporary quick, loose, overhand knot to temporarily convert the “AMUU Lanyard” into a wrist strap, if desired (e.g., to take a selfy). Note also that the attachment loop of the “AMUU Lanyard” might hypothetically wear-out after, say, a few months of heavy use — although I’ve seen no evidence of wear on mine.>> Note that there are similar lanyards with easy-release plastic clips (something to avoid) which allow you to disconnect your ID Badge (the lanyards are almost exclusively used for that purpose) to run your badge though a scanner etc. — but those are poor choices for a cell phone lanyard, because they might disconnect by accident, dropping your phone to the floor.<> UPDATE — yes as many other customers report, the attachment pad caused my phone to rise in the case, such that it was hard to plug-in the charger cable. But after a couple of months, the little “bridge piece” of the case (just above the charging plug socket) broke, so I carefully cut it out completely (with a wire cutter, and smoothed with a nail file), and now the charging cable plugs in easily, and the case does not appear to be compromised. I’ve been using the (post surgery) phone/case/strap for about 3 months now, including a cruise, with no problems. Also, some cables do not bind as much as other cables. Buying a charging cable with a skinnier plug is a cheap solution to the problem.> Reading some of the other reviews, many disgruntled purchasers apparently tried to install the attachment pad on cases which do not have closed bottoms. Again, that won’t work. You must use a closed-bottom case.

    Got this ’cause I’m forgetful – and this works for me.
    Simple to attach to my smart phone case. I use it when I go into stores, since I have left a phone in a store 5 times and got it returned to me when I returned to the store (within 2 minutes) 3 times. That means TWICE I had to replace my smart phone due to my not being so smart.

    Does what I need, but wears quickly
    Love the concept and still use them daily, but the ribbon on the rings to attach my phone wears out quickly. It would be nice if they made the ribbon from slightly sturdier stuff. Makes it easy to clip my phone to my purse for travel and ease of use, I don’t use the included lanyard or neck strap, I attach to a small s-carabiner on my purse. This is an almost daily used item. One clip lasts about 5-6 months.

    Life Changing
    My new phone is gigantic (pixel6pro…TOO BIG) and almost all of my clothing has tiny or no pockets and I don’t use a bag/purse. The phone just won’t fit the pockets or falls out all the time. I also drop the phone a lot because of the size, and am prone to putting it down and then walking away and forgetting where I left it. This simple strap solves all my problems. Literally it has changed my life.The fact that this lanyard is expandable size? KEY benefit! I always wear my phone cross body and regular lanyard length just isn’t long enough. I also tend to put my phone in my pocket when I do have adequate ones, OR in my purse when I do actually wear one and I can adjust the strap so that my phone is both secured across my body AND sitting in the pocket or bag. Extra security from accidental phone falling out or potentially a pick pocketing deterrent.The adhesion on the sticker part is holding up as far as I can tell (it’s been on for about 4 months so far). I’d imagine using this without a case wouldn’t work as well (the very edge of the sticker is exposed in some places and is starting to lift just a smidge)The durability of the little ribon loop that the lanyard clips to is phenomenal. I work in an active job so this phone is swinging around at the end of it’s rope, quiet literally, a lot and it’s still holding up! I suspect the fabric loop piece will be what eventually fails as it’s just now beginning to fray a bit but I am still super impressed.My ONLY real critique is that the lanyard is threaded through one of the metal pieces backwards and then sewn in such a way that it will never lie flat. (See pic). Drives me bonkers. I have three of these same lanyards (I wanted back up) and they’re all like this.But I still suggest this item to anyone who misplaces or drops their phone often! Where’s my phone? Always right there. Oops I dropped it? No problem it’s right there, never even hit the ground. Kneeled down and phone fell out of your pocket? Don’t even have to pick it up just stand up, it’s right there! Life. Changing.EDIT: STILL AWESOME! Returning on 2/10/23 to report that the little satin ribbon loop that holds the adhesive strip to the o-ring JUST broke today, so it lasted about 8 months. It only broke because it was tugged VERY, VERY HARD during an extreme game of tug with a yellow lab (The lanyard got caught in his bite with the toy, the phone was in my pocket lol). I expect it would have lasted a year had this not happened. I’m buying more, and hoping the manufacturer will one day sew the lanyard on so it can actually lie flat because I see I’m not the only one who is bothered by it!!

    Longueur du cordon très pratique. Anneau retenu par du tissu et non de plastique … plastique qui pourrait se fissurer. Très satisfaite de mon achat et recommande fortement.

    Ich habe den kurzen Bendel seit fast 1 Gahr im Einsatz und ist immer noch super. Anfangs hatte ich Angst, das der Satinbendel zwischen Metalhacken und Halteruemen reißt, tat er aber nicht. Hat mich positiv überrascht
