We designed the OXO Tot Transitions Straw Cup to help minimize the big mess that comes with big kid sips. The almond-shaped, spill-proof straw conforms to your tot’s mouth, easing the transition from bottle, breastfeeding or sippy cup. The straw valve opens as soon as tot’s lips press down on it for easy drinking, and the hinged cap closes to create a leakproof seal. The cap and straw are removable for easy, thorough cleaning. BPA free. Dishwasher safe.

Customers say
Customers find the drinking cup to be a good first cup for toddlers. It’s leak-proof, easy to clean, and durable. They appreciate its functionality and ease of assembly. However, some customers have issues with the straw quality, such as dislodging or having to pinch it to get water out. There are mixed opinions on whether the cup is toddler-friendly.

Great Sippy
We love this sippy cup! We have been buying the brand of sippy since our daughter was about 1 (6 years ago) and continued the tradition with my son when it was his turn. We love them. Doesn’t leak everywhere and they get to feel like a big kid drinking out of the straw. We usually only buy the dark green and light green versions. They are always true to size and color. You never have to worry about this cup breaking from dropping. Also very easy to clean. Definitely get this for your independent toddler!

Great quality!
Good quality. Daughter had thrown multiple times and it has not broken! It opens and closes smoothly and does not leak out! The straw is a bite and suck but thatâs what most are!

Love Oxo tot straw cups!
These straw cups are my favorite for babies/toddler/young kids. Easy to use, donât leak, and easy to clean. My only gripe is that I have a kid who loves to chew on plastric/silicone straws (heâs much better and in theraoy, but itâs still a struggle) and while they last a decent amount of time (for him), finding replacement straws (instead of just buying a whole new cup which is wasteful and more expensive) recently has been extremely difficult. That being said, theyâre still my favorite small cup for kids and I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

Child likes it, but hinged cap is problematic
When it was time for us to transition my baby from drinking milk out of a bottle to drinking milk out of a cup, there were so many available options out there. I asked friends, I researched online, and there were so many different favorites. I chose to try this because of the reputable brand and my satisfaction with other products they have. The Good:-My toddler likes it (and isnât this the most important?)-Solid construction, thick plastic, well-made materials-Hardly leaks (if I hold it upside down, liquid wonât come out, but if shaking the cup, some liquid eventually escapes)-The volume markings are helpful to know how much my child is consuming-Easy for my child to learn to use-Curved shape easy for holdingThe Bad:-Difficult to wash – the spout with the straw valve is hard to get into to make sure everything is clean-We put some broth made with chicken and carrot inside, and the straw and valve stained a pale yellow (see picture).-Some liquid at the end isnât able to be sucked up because the straw doesnât touch the bottom. When not much liquid is left, drinking from certain angles doesnât work because the straw is in air. A weighted straw would be preferred to fix both of these problems.-The hinged cap often gets caught on the straw and it is quite difficult to push past it for me as an adult, let alone a childAt the end of the day, regardless of what we think is good or bad about a cup – the best cup is the one that our child likes and is willing to drink out of. My child likes it, and we even bought a second one. So although itâs not perfect and improvements can be made, Iâd still recommend this cup.

My 1 year old loves it
Love this cup because it doesnât leak and is easy to clean. The straw comes apart in a few pieces to clean and dry completely. The cover is easy to open/close and my 15 month old can do it himself. Would buy again!

Straw did not work
Straw did not work, my toddler was very frustrated that it was so difficult to drink through. returned.

Straw is a bite & suck
Product is fine, I like how itâs not a weighted straw so that itâs able to be cleaned better & all comes apart.. but the child has to bite the straw to get the water out which I was unaware of when buying

No trae agarradera pues es el vaso de transición, pero si aún asà tienes el anterior con asa puedes adaptarla a este vaso y le queda muy bien, no se derrama y fácil de lavar

Finally I found a bottle that doesn’t leak but also not one of the weighted straw ones. I like how the straw is a little flat at the top.

Now have 2 of these, great shape for my toddler to hold.

I have used this water bottle in multiple sizes and love it! The leak free straw helps my little one drink easily without spilling and we love how easy it is to clean. We went through a few water bottles and this one works the best for him!
