Honestly they work like magic!
I have three sizes of these blankets and I can’t tell you how much of a game changer these have been for potty training, playtime, adult playtime, eating on the bed or sofa – they not only keep whatever is under them reliably dry and clean, they seem to absorb an unbelievable amount of liquid and then still feel dry to the touch. They’re comfortable enough to even just use as a blanket, you’d hardly know it wasn’t a regular blanket and I don’t understand how it’s possible but my son even had accidents on them and I didn’t notice until the odor of urine tipped me off later in the day – where did the moisture go? No idea, but not into the mattress so I give these a major thumbs up. I’ve been washing them consistently for months and they seem to work just as well.The very largest size I own, the queen size throw, is a bit difficult to dry after washing because, well, it just does its job so darn well the washer can’t spin the moisture out of it so I have to hang/drip dry it a bit before putting it in the dryer but honestly wow can’t believe how well these work!

Not great for long-haired dogs
The blanket is very nice for the humans; however, it is a magnet for dog hair. Easy to wash in your washing machine and dry in your dryer to remove the dog hair. Fluffs up nicely.

Sizes smaller than advertised
I bought 2 extra large (60×80) and 1 large (40×60) blankets for my couch. All 3 blankets are at least 10in shorter than advertised. Although I bought 3 and made them fit to cover all seats on my couch, I am quite disappointed that they are smaller than what I was told I was buying. Therefore, these are quite overpriced with that fact in mind.

I suggested to my Grandma that she should try a waterproof pet blanket on her bed because she was putting a shower curtain liner on her bed to catch the pee every time her cat pees on her bed which is sometimes multiple times a week, she was having to wash her bedding 6-8 times a month if she forgot to put the liner back on or because their claws make holes in it. As if there wasn’t already enough reasons to like dogs more than cats that one takes the cake, he literally only pees on beds, couches or in the litterbox at least dogs have the decency to pee on the floor. Her cat has peed on this blanket multiple times and everytime it has worked perfectly. It never soaks through to the bedding underneath and it washes very well, it’s very durable, although it can take an extra spin and dry cycle to get it dry but that might just be her washer and dryer as they are not the best.. It is soft and doesn’t crinkle or make any noise, it just seems like a normal very thick fleece blanket. She also since bought a smaller blanket for the couch and it has worked just as well.
