Great compostable cat litter bags
I have purchased these compostable cat litter bags a couple of times, so have used well over 100 bags. They are very sturdy and can hold a lot of cat waste scooped from the cat box.. It is important to me to use compostable bags to dispose of the cat waste that goes in the garbage rather than using plastic bags.Here’s a tidbit I found online: It takes 1,000 years for a plastic bag to degrade in a landfill. Unfortunately, plastic bags don’t break down completely but instead photo-degrade, becoming microplastics that absorb toxins and continue to pollute the environment. THIS IS VERY POWERFUL! Can you see why I don’t use plastic bags?!I am environmentally conscious and try to recycle everything I can. I did some research and found cat litter that is compostable and biodegradable rather than using litter that has to be put in the garbage. I contacted my solid waste/recycling center and asked if I scooped the cat waste and put it in the garbage could I put the rest of the compostable cat litter in these green compostable bags and put them in my compost bin. They said YES, THAT’S A GREAT IDEA! So I’ve found 2 uses for these sturdy compostable bags. It makes me feel good knowing I am doing things to protect the environment!

Biodegradable Cat Litter Bags
In trying to buy and use only biodegradable plastic products, I found these on Amazon, and I am grateful to the maker and to Amazon that I did.I have three cats that use the litter boxes, so I find a lot of litter to scoop at the end of every day. These bags may seem flimsy and rather small when opened, but theyâre not. They hold loads of litter without breaking. These are the best Iâve tried.

They are biodegradable.
Have only used them a few times, but so far I like them. I have only two cats, so the size is adequate. I’m not sure how well they would work out with more than two felines. The opening is a bit small, but I have a number of scoopers so I just use the one that fits easiest.

We have two cats and the bags easily hold their daily used litter. The larger bag was useful because we have a large litter scoop. Tie it up and toss it. We will be buying them again.

Where have these been all my kitty litter cleaning life?
I used to use the grocrey store bags for litter cleaning. Often had to double bag because they had tears in them. I thought I was doing something good because I was reusing the plastic. However, my grocery store went to “reusable” bags that we purchase. So I bought my own that could be washed. Then I ran out of those old bags.Wow, who would have thought we would have biodegradable poop bags for litter boxes? Amazing. At first I though these bags would be too small and they seemed flemsy. Wrong. They can handle all that my two cats “poop” out is a day and never break with the load.Now I not only have biodegradable litter, but a biodegradable bag to put it in! Almost makes cleaning the litter enjoyable — well, at least I don’t feel guilty about adding more plastic to the environment. 🙂

This is a fine product but the usable area of the bag is very small. The length includes the handles and they are long.
