Nice digestive blend
I take probiotics daily and I was running low. I decided to give DRFOSTER Probiotics a try instead of using my regular brand. I was interested in this brand because in addition to the probiotics and prebiotics it also included slippery elm, peppermint and ginger. I’d used peppermint and ginger separately on occasion in the past and found them to be helpful for certain issues. I really wanted to see how my body would react implementing them into my daily routine.A dose of this supplement is two capsules per day. I’m not really fond of taking multiple pills per dose, but after reading through the list of ingredients I decided it was worth it. If the information is correct, then this is a really good combination that could be quite beneficial to the body. The capsules are fairly average in size, they’re easy to swallow and didn’t get stuck in my throat. I didn’t’ detect any unpleasant odor or taste from them. I didn’t have any negative reactions to them. I believe I’m doing as well if not better than I do with the probiotics I had been taking.There are 90 capsules per bottle. The description says 86, but the bottle says 90. I have to admit, I didn’t count them, I’m assuming 90 is correct. That’s a month and a half supply. Right now I feel I’m really benefiting from these, I like them. If things change after a month of using them I’ll come back and update my review.****About me: Integrity is very important to me. Meets the Criteria
When I decide to take a product, ( or in this case choose something for my husband ), it has meet several standards and criteria and not contain a number of things. Those are: made at a GMP facility, Non GMO, Gluten Free, and 3rd Party Tested. This product passes all that plus it has many organic ingredients, and this includes Betaine HCL. Betaine HCL is thought to optimize gastric acidity. We are hoping this will help with a few issues that probiotics are said to help manage.The Dr Foster Pre/ Probiotic bottle was double sealed, with lot number and expiration date on the bottom of bottle. The bottle I received in August 2024, expires 6/2027 so it appears to have a 3 year longevity from production to expiration. The pills are in white capsules so I was not able to see if they were all filled the same. None of the capsules were damaged or broken. The capsules are a traditional size and easy to take.The directions indicate that 2 per day is the recommended dosage taken 1x per day after a meal. My husband eats breakfast really early so this has worked perfectly with his schedule. He has taken about a week so far, and he likes taking them. He has had no negative effects to date. Based on review guidelines, I cannot comment on the effectiveness of the probiotic on his system but he will continue taking them as directed. The only issue I found was that neither the bottle, the listing or the AI search built into the listing state where these are manufactured. I have deducted one star for the lack of this information. I also checked the company website listed on the bottle, but at the time of this review, this product is not shown – It is just being introduced on Amazon. I take a variety of probiotics for overall health and wellness. I haven’t had any issues with these over the past few days. The capsules are normal sized and easy to swallow. They smell OK and have no taste or aftertaste. They expire approximately three years after the date of receipt, so they are relatively fresh. They claim to be made in a GMP facility although the bottle does not state the country of origin for the ingredients or where everything was manufactured/assembled, which some people care about. The product picture in the Amazon listing says there are 43 servings per bottle, which seems like an odd number, but my bottle states there are 45 servings per bottle. This doesn’t affect my rating but I am noting it here for your benefit.

Great Probiotic – GMP and Lab Tested!
I am pretty careful with the supplements I get from Amazon, as I read many of them are sub-par or not even what they claim to be. However, these probiotics are made in the USA and has seals from Good Manufacturing Practice and Third Party Lab Tested, among others. Also it has some solid ingredients in addition to the billions of probiotics. I never really notice a difference from taking a probiotic, but I assume good things are happening in there.
