No longer overheats
We have a disc drive ps5 that never overheated, we didn’t even know that was a thing. We got a new digital game called Bugsnax. We started getting warnings that it was over heating. We ignored it. Days later, the warning would pop up and then shut the system off. The system was hot. After not being able to play the game due to it shutting down, we thought maybe the system was dirty, maybe the power supply is dirty, maybe the liquid metal is bad. We brought it to a place that said it was the cleanest ps5 they have come across and the liquid metal was in great condition (horizontal position, of course). It still over heated with Bugsnax. We purchased this fan, and no more over heating and lots of bugsnax.
Also, it isn’t loud at all, it’s super quiet. The internal workings of the PS5 are much louder. If it didn’t have a blue light, I wouldn’t know it was running.
