Convenient wipes holder
This dispenser works just as described to give access to wet wipes with only one hand due to its motion sensor. When we come in from taking my dog out to potty his little rear sometimes needs a wipe, and being able to wave my hand over it to open the lid is a plus.The booklet that is inside the container does identify the buttons which all work as it says, but the instructions for installing the two AA batteries required (not included) were confusing to me, even though thereâs a photo pointing out the little notch to insert a coin or flat head screwdriver to open the access. To get to that point you have to open the lid and reach inside to grip the lid and pull it off. Then you can see on the bottom of the lid what the photo is showing. You gently snap off the plastic inner cover (gently because it seems a bit brittle like it might crack easily) and can put in the batteries. After theyâre in you put the inner cover back and then put the wipes inside before putting the top lid back on.

I previously had a dispenser in this bathroom (from a very popular brand) with a press/spring-open top. I had to leave on the packaging sticker that noted where to press because how to open it wasnât obvious. I didn’t like that you have to press down pretty firmly on that particular spot of the dispenser for it to open. This ROUNDs version with the auto open & close is easy to use & sooo much more sanitary. (Fyi, I also keep disinfecting wipes in that bathroom.)+ Design & aesthetic: Itâs simple & modern which makes it look appropriate for where itâs being used in my home.Cons- Battery cover: This thing is VERY stiff which is noted in the description. (Iâd add an extra âveryâ.) I thought I was going to break the battery cover, thatâs how stiff & difficult it was to get off. Thankfully, I did not, I first tried using a coin which was one of the recommendations. That was pointless. I ended up using a flathead screwdriver while repeatedly saying âplease donât breakâ & it eventually opened.Overall, I really like this wipes dispenser & would put one in each of my bathrooms. If the battery cover wasn’t so super difficult to open, this would be a 5-star item. I’d still definitely recommend this item to anyone.

Works but Difficult to Use With Diaper Wipes
The item itself is nice enough. It is well built and the sensor is sensitive and accurate. There are seals around the device and I do think it will keep moisture in. The color is a grayish off-white, and it almost reminds me of office hardware. This item requires 2 AA batteries that are not included.The only issue with this design is that you need wipes that very reliably pull the next wipe up when you take one out. There are no flaps in the opening to hold the next wipe up and to create friction to keep multiple wipes from coming out. Because the wipes I have arenât super reliable in pulling the next one up I find myself having to stick my hand in the smallish opening and fish around for the wipe. Doing this defeats the purpose of having a touch free lid. I also noticed this doesnât work as well with the 1.5inch height packs of wipes. Iâve tried 2 types of majorly popular wipes and neither one was great at pulling one wipe up behind it. For this reason I donât see myself being able to use this in the nursery. The design could be improved to accommodate diaper wipe dispensing. I think if flaps were added to the opening to help with dispensing this item would be a home run.

Automatic Wipes Dispenser
Initially, I was skeptical about how well this automatic baby wipe dispenser would actually work. I was a little underwhelmed upon first unboxing of the dispenser. A little more annoyed that this requires batteries rather than being rechargeable.At first I didn’t think the automatic lid worked. After a quick read of the manual (fine print for those of us with poor eyesight), I got it working and it operates perfectly. The sensor is quite sensitive but the lid does reliably close after 10 seconds or so.The tub is slightly on the shorter end so longer wipes may not fit properly. The tub basin is deep but the opening to access the wipes is quite deep also. Regardless, the dispenser works quite well and I’m both satisfied and impressed with its performance.

Works Perfectly, But Be Mindful of Size!
The Automatic Opening and Closing Wipes Dispenser works just as advertised. It’s a high-quality product from a Japanese company. However, there are a couple of things to consider:Japanese wipes tend to be smaller than typical U.S. wipes, so be sure to check the size compatibility before purchasing.The next wipe should pop out slightly after one is pulled; otherwise, it can be challenging to grab the next one since it sits a bit deep under the lid.Overall, it’s a great product if used with compatible wipes!
