A basic, classic design for a many-use container
I find these containers useful in many venues. I like this particular size because it is small enough to be stored in a kitchen cabinet but large enough to stir up a cake mix in. I can use them to clean food or kitchen utensils. They can hold a good amount of grains or beans in the pantry. They can hold cherries or leftovers in the refrigerator or crayons in the arts & crafts area.They are strong and durable, easy to open but stay firmly locked when desired. Their square footprint make them efficient when used for storage. Also, the tops can be stored underneath the containers when not in use.I can, and do, buy other containers for use in the kitchen and around the house. But I think these Rubbermaid containers are the most versatile of them all. Plastic can be difficult to clean at times, especially when greasy. If you cannot put it into the dishwasher and have hard water, as we do in our part of the country, baking soda added to dish detergent can work wonders. They’ll rinse off squeaky clean and ready for reuse.

Every household needs Rubbermaid
I have a lot of different sized Rubbermaid containers and appreciate how nicely they can be stacked for easy storage. Tight fitting lids ensure food contents will stay fresh longer. I also use the containers for miscellaneous items. Dependable product!

Snappy, easy to clean and durable!
I first ordered this set in May 2020 (for $15) and they have lasted well into today with no signs of slowing down! I use them at home and to carry lunch to and from work and they have survived several-foot drops onto the concrete floor, kicks from steel-toed boots and even months-long stays in the freezer at home, and are largely unharmed save for a few scratches along the bottom edges. They are easy to clean, hold more than enough food for my needs, and the lids closing with an audible snap makes for a great feedback loop. I cannot comment on how well tough stains can be cleaned because I promptly hand wash them after handling food, but easy jobs are little problem with Ajax. Probably a personal favorite feature of mine is that the lids are small and flat enough to fit on my tiny food scale, allowing me to easily weigh food while still being able to see the scale. These are great for small leftovers and for ready to eat snacks
My wife has lost a lot of weight dues to serious neurological illnesses. I uses several of these filled with different nuts and trail mix to tempt her to eat between meals. The food stays fresh for days and it does help her eat. She has gained 2 lbs in the last two weeks.These are also great for saving small amounts of leftovers rather than using one of the larger Rubbermaid containers of which we also have many.

Good product

We like the rubbermaid products. And this product is no exception. This one is strong and closes well.That being said, the description say it’s a 4 pieces set. So I expected 4 containers. However, it’s only containing 2 containers. So it seems they count a container and a lid as 2 pieces. I find this to be a little misleading.
