LOVE THEM!!
They are GREAT! I bought quite a few of them different sizes! I LOVE the fact that the lids are all the same & have an Air Vent, & when they are stored, you can press all the lids together & they stick together! Great Quality! Of course it is, itâs Rubbermaid! lol I threw out all my other storage containers! No more frustration trying to find the right lid! Prices are a lot better than Wal-Mart, Target, etcâ¦

Food storage tips in review
I’ve been using these red top containers now for about a decade, and I still have most of my first purchase. A few have been given away, stolen or lost. I’ve bought some extra so that I have new looking containers to take to potlucks or as a guest. But I’m quite sure that I haven’t actually destroyed any of them. They are in daily use around my house and on average I have about 6-8 of them in the fridge at any one time. All the lids still fit securely and there are no abraded edges. The biggest culprit for damage to these [as far as making them not look good, though still functional] are tomato based foods like pasta sauce or chili. It can add a bit of stain that doesn’t come out for a couple of washings and/or erode a bit over time. However, over the past year or so, I’ve started spraying the inside with cooking spray, and it certainly helps with the staining. Otherwise, these containers get a bit of etching on the clear plastic and look whiteish and not new, though they remain functional. Still, with the cost of them, I have no intention of switching to something else. Not even Tupperware has outlasted these things, and these are a lot cheaper.I needed some larger containers with doing more cooking this year because of COVID, so I got a few of these and some for my adult kids. They are great for soups and I don’t think I’ve ever had one leak with reasonable food handling. The one exception would be if I’ve stored some hot food and the pressure burped a corner loose. But this works for anything and better than any storage container short of a screw top or a mason jar storage container. I just put it on the table, lay the lid on top till it heats up the air and burp it a couple of times. I’ve also had a corner pop loose in the microwave if I’ve not popped it loose in advance. Both of these situations have been remedied by the addition of this burp valve on top of the red lid. Now I can just crack that loose and put it in the fridge or the microwave without concern. Kudos to the Rubbermaid folks for this rather innovative yet uncomplicated design change. I don’t know if they are doing this on all of the tops or just a few. It’s not often needed so I’d hate to see an expense that isn’t necessary, but I know I’ll happily take this on a few of them.Technically speaking you aren’t supposed to use these for cooking. However, the instructions say that 30 seconds in the microwave won’t be a problem. I’ve found that to be true except for fats. Fats will get too hot for these. As for sizes, I like the variety though I’d happily trade 20 of those tiny containers for one 7 or 9 cup. The tiny ones are great for storing a bit of salad dressing or diced onion, or taking a minimal amount of sauce on a picnic, but that’s about it. I suspect the only reason they are there in that number are to boost the number of containers on the packaging.5 stars easy, but pay attention to sizes and be willing to pay a bit more for getting the sizes you need.

Large food storage container
Love these Rubbermaid larger containers. They are great for everything. They typically come in the sets but they are very stingy with them. They hook you so you have to get more a la cart style. Good that they last a good long time.

Small But Nice and Deep
This container is one of my favorites for food storage. Itâs deep enough to hold food with sauces or liquids; yet, small enough to not take up too much space in the fridge. Ideal for leftover canned veggies.Mine lasted me a good number of years. Part of the lid cracked off. Itâs microwave-safe but, think Iâm going to avoid using it to heat food up this time.

Get some of these if you store food!
I have several sizes. They fit in my cupboard because they are stackable. The lids are thick! The containers are not that thin plastic! Thick plastic! And never stains! Even with Spaghetti in them! I dont use them in the microwave. You can but stick it on my plate then heat it up. GET ONE !

This is NOT a three piece set as described.
The item is what you would expect. A Rubbermaid product with well fitting lids. However, the order informations states a three piece set. Only one unit arrived. Amazon reordered for me and again, only one unit arrived, Just be aware, Is it the seller or Amazon doing this?

Finally found a lightweight, no leaks, tall, with ideal footprint to carry in my average size lunch bag. Have been using for salads, fruits and miscellaneous cold dishes. Over two years of use and still going strong, no discolouration or leakage. Worth every penny!

Muy buen tamaño de recipiente, me sirve para guardar sopas, un melón completo. La tapa cierra muy bien. Llegó antes de tiempo. Lo recomiendo ampliamente
