Stylish and effective for distance running
This running vest has it all: it’s a beautiful shade of pink, holds my phone, let’s me use my phone without taking it out, sits very comfortably against my torso, holds enough water for a decent length run, and is made out of a high quality breathable material that is comfortable to run in. I bought this for my marathon training and it has held up very well. It holds a decent amount of water and 1 gel (I use the huma chia seed gels), but since I don’t want to use the pouch on the back, I also wear a running belt to hold extra gels. My favorite feature is the phone holder. It has a protective transparent screen that allows you to see your phone and use it without taking it out and risking dropping and breaking it! And when you’re done, just clip it back and it holds it very securely. My favorite running backpack purchase by far.

Good for the $
The vest works great but if youâre smaller than a medium sized shirt, it will probably be slightly big on you. I like that it comes with a bottle and the cell phone holder. During a run the straps started to loosen around the 2 mile mark, but I could easily tighten them while running. Overall great value.

The vest fits well and was comfortable to wear even on my longest runs. The bladder that comes with it works well – but needs a few rinsing to get the taste from it (or use Gatorade rather than water the first few times)FWIW I think the issue for those who the bladder split or leaked may be from not drinking properly. Something I did the first few times. My first inclination was to bite the nozzle (to open) then squeeze the bladder to squirt water/liquid. That method kind of worked but seemed to put a lot of pressure on the seams of the bladder. When I switched to biting then sucking the liquid to get a drink I realized that is how the system is supposed to work. Otherwise I am sure the bladder would not last for very long.

Overall this is a pretty good running vest. I recommend purchasing a new water bottle from a running store as this one has a very strong plastic taste that doesn’t go away. I wish the material around the shoulders was a little more fitted (it’s just a tiny bit stiff so doesn’t form to my body the way I would like it to) but generally pretty good for the price!
