Highly recommend this water container for anyone who wants to be prepared for emergencies
The build quality is impressiveâit feels very sturdy and durable, perfect for outdoor adventures. One of the things I love most is that itâs BPA-free, so I can confidently store drinking water without worrying about harmful chemicals. The design makes it easy to fill and pour, and itâs compact enough to fit neatly in my car or camping setup.I’ve also used it for emergency storage at home, and it gives me peace of mind knowing I have a reliable water source on hand. Overall, I highly recommend this water container for anyone who enjoys camping or wants to be prepared for emergencies. Itâs practical, safe, and built to last!

Heavy Duty and no leaks!
I keep this in my truck when camping and it works great. Ive used cheaper ones that work ok, but leak and the material is much thinner. This is legit and heavy duty…

It’s a Scepter, pretty much all you need to know.
We’ll guess there’s a million reviews of these containers. We keep it brief…Pros:* Like its larger 5-gallon brother, the Scepter 2.5 gallon water container is literally bomb-proof, military grade, solid construction, and worth its price.* Leaves no foul or “plastic” taste in the water it carries.* The 2.5 gallon container is SUPER handy and unless you’re doing some serious overland travel, its compact size, relative to your water requirements, may make this a better buy than the much larger, and ungainly, 5-gallon model.* The khaki/beige color looks great in and of itself and if you’re prepping for the zombie apocalypse, you will be sure to impress your prepper friends with this very tacticool colorway.* Post-COVID it seems as if the price for Scepter containers is again reasonable. But can you even put a price on this quality?Cons:* None

Heavy-duty product — will not get punctured by rough handling
A very solidly made product. After reading other reviews, I saw that the one possible failure point is the o-ring gasket sealing the big screw cap. Many other reviewers said their Scepter water can leaked from here. As soon as I got mine, I filled it halfway with warm water and some dish detergent, sealed it up and shook it at all angles — upside down, sideways, every which way. No leaks! The small cap had no o-ring, but it looks like it doesn’t need one because the lip of the spout seats inside a groove inside the cap.As an aside, I found information on another website that the large cap o-ring is a standard #238 size, which is 3-1/2″ ID x 3-3/4″ OD x 1/8″ thick. The person on the other website had added an o-ring to the small cap and reported its size as #116, which is 3/4″ ID x 15/16″ OD x 3/32″ thick. In case the o-rings on your Scepter water can get pinched or damaged, you should be able to buy replacements at an industrial supply house or plumbing supply. This water can will last a lifetime!

Durable and fits perfectly for what I wanted it for, but it does seem to leak a little.
Durable and fits perfectly for what I wanted it for, but it does seem to leak a little when turned on its side. I have this in the back of my camper and overall I’m happy with it. However, as a test, I filled it about 2/3 full, twisted the top the best I could and turned it on its side and it did leak a little around the lid. Now, as stored in my camper upright, I haven’t had any issues, but I’m always concerned if things aren’t 100% watertight. I would buy it again, it fits right where I need it, but might need to figure out some gasket for the lid.

Great quality. Survived a few falls from the table.

Agua purificado!
I have a few five-gallon jugs that work well. I bought this one because it’s small enough for canoe camping. It’s great! Kind of expensive. I hate that, but buy once and cry once.

Drop it out of a bush plane …. no problem as it will not break. Also when you open the spout and air breather you can pour or fill anything without spilling a drop. Very controlled. Love this container.

Have used these before and while more expensive than many similar products the quality and dependability of these canât be beaten. If you are remote travelling you want to know your water is safe !

Bastante más ligeros que los de 20L, pero igual de resistentes. Puedo decir que me gustan más porque son mucho más faciles de mover

Ok. Yes. This product is expensive. It is even very expensive. But, when like me it will be used to store my drinking water for several months, there is no question of me sacrificing quality. And the quality is there. That’s the important thing: paying more when you have more is not a problem.
