DIRECTIONS AWFUL. MY RELAY BURNT UP 4 SECONDS AFTER TURNING THE BREAKER ON.
I WOULD NOT EVER BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN. I AM AN ELECTRICIAN AND WAS UNCLEAR ON HOW TO CONNECT THE LOAD TO THIS RELAY. AFTER I TURNED ON THE BREAKER, THE RELAY SMOKED.

Good once you get it to work
As with my Shelly temperature monitors, this power monitor was annoyingly difficult to get online, requiring too many tries, but once connected it has looked reliable and consistent. Also keep in mind that installing any wifi device inside a grounded steel box is not going to work well for wifi. I installed mine in a “non-metallic” electrical box and still had a PITA getting it to connect the first time. But again, once connected, works reasonably well. Load measurement agrees with my Amprobe meter. Interesting issue– i tried it on my hard-wired water pump, which is outdoors and therefore on a GFCI circuit breaker. I had it on the load side of the breaker, and it kept tripping the GFCI. In theory this should have worked, because the Shelly device should simply appear as a tiny additional load. When i moved the Shelly to the source side of the breaker, no problems. Odd.

Ich nutze den Shelly Gen3 in meiner Home Assistant Installation und finde den elektrischen Anschluss â sofern man sich auskennt â relativ einfach. In einer tiefen Schalterdose mit vielen Drähten, in der eventuell noch Wago-Klemmen zum Einsatz kommen, wird es allerdings etwas eng und fummelig, den Shelly unterzubringen. Für die umfangreichen Möglichkeiten, die dieser Schalter bietet, sollte man sich etwas Zeit nehmen â im Netz gibt es jedoch zahlreiche hilfreiche Anleitungen. Insgesamt bin ich mit dem Produkt sehr zufrieden und habe es bereits nachbestellt.

Leider kein Neugerät erhalten, es war ein Retoure Gerät! Verpackung war zerstört und notdürftig mit Klebeband verklebt! Wenn man Retoure verkauft sollte man es als solches deklarieren!Zum Gerät selbst, es funktioniert. Hoffe es stellen sich keine Folgeschäden ein. Habe bis jetzt 54 verbaut und alle Funktionieren tadellos und das seid über 3 Jahren. Das ist der Pluspunkt bei Shelly, super zuverlässig!
