Love the design
I bought this cup for my 3 year old and she uses it regularly. It is easily cleaned either by hand or in the dishwasher however I ensure I take the peices apart to make sure they all get clean. My 3 year old can easily open and close the spout on her own making my life easier. I only use room temperature or cold liquids as that is what she drinks so I dont know how it would hold up with hot drinks. It has been dropped and is very durable. The size is great for young children. It works great but will leak of the spout is left open. It functions exactly as expected. Super cute and practical.

These are perfect for our toddlers â they can open them on their own! However, they do leak if left on their side. Theyâre easy to clean, though, which is a big plus.

Perfect for my 3 year old
I’ve really started enjoying Simply Modern products. I have 3 of the stainless steel cups for my 3 year old, but was looking for something cheaper. This cup is great, spill-proof, and all my girl wants to drink from these days. I love that it’s only a few pieces to take apart for washing and completely dishwasher safe. I just purchased another cup in a different design to add to her her Christmas stocking this year. Great design and quality!

Cute but not leakproof
I bought myself a simple modern tumbler and thought my son needed one too! The Cookie Monster print was too cute to pass up. I probably didnât read the description fully but this is NOT a leak proof cup. When it is closed, it doesnât leak but when the straw is open and held upside down it will leak. For bigger kids, Iâm sure this isnât a big issue but my son is a toddler so this canât be an everyday cup for him. Weâve had the cup for a little over a month and donât use it too often as I just mentioned so I havenât noticed the design wearing yet but it is easy to clean. I also like that it comes with two straws. It is easy for my toddler to use and hold but I could see it being difficult as a first time straw cup because the opening is very wide.

Super cute and easy for my 2 year old to drink from. But he has discovered it will pour out if he turns it upside down. Great cup but wish it was spill proof!

My kids favorite bottle!
My Elmo-obsessed kiddo loves this cup. I like the straw function to break away from the sippy cups. Itâs very easy to clean, havenât noticed any water collection which would leave to mold. It does leak if thrown but not dramatically so. Good portable size. Could be more insulated but for an easy day-to-day cup it more than does the trick!

No complaints. Iâve been using Simple Modern for my kids since they were old enough to drink out of straws.I love the variety of designs they offer. Not technically leak proof. Obviously if you flip it upside down, a little bit of water will leak where the straw is located.I also love that it always comes with an additional straw. They are easy to clean since they donât have a lot of parts that need to be removed.

My 4yo loved the water bottle. Straw is easy for her to pull up to drink and it doesnât leak. It also came with an extra straw and is easy to take apart to clean.

Great looking bottle. But definitely should not be advertised as leakproof. The bottle needs to be held perfectly upright. And with a toddler that is not all the time. So if he takes a sip and then walks with it the water comes out of the straw free flowing. Bad design. It should have a backflow protector like pretty well every other toddler drink bottle.
