Line input on this audio mixer is XLR based powering 48v phantom power to drive high ohm microphones while simultaneously allowing 3.5mm Aux jack loopback. Audio controls do feel quiet using rubber dome switches and sliders with tactile centers on both mic and music adjustment. Top gain and volume knobs also rotate quietly for recording in home studios. This audio mixer mainly relies on onboard 44.1 kHz lossy sound digital to analog chipset to merge line inputs with added benefit of USB Type C and XLR power. There’s some basic fader and soundboard effects for adjusting microphone sound. Setup process while driverless in OBS meant function keys were static but illuminate in vibrant RGB hues. Headphone impedance of 3.5mm jack is low causing static buzzing noise when streaming as one of its flaws. Overall it doubles as both audio deck for recording having ergonomic controls for microphone inputs or USB DAC to power studio monitors and headphone line outputs.

If you or a child in your family are looking to get started as a podcaster or streamer, this entry-level audio controller is an affordable way to put your best foot forward…The kit has a very clean and professional design that is easy to understand and navigate — and without much of a learning curve involved. I admit that I did give up on trying to get a connection to a PS5 working properly, and the included manual doesn’t really walk you through the specific setup for a console. However, getting up & running with a PC was pretty straightforward and almost no troubleshooting was required.Compatibility with both YouTube and Twitch was seamless as well, and although you will need to spend a bit of time getting your volumes just right, I didn’t encounter any distortion with voices or audio during the actual test streams.Most of the effects here are fairly standard to most controllers/streamdecks, but this particular unit does go a little above & beyond by allowing you to record custom voice/effects with a built-in twenty second sampler. The playback from this feature isn’t as sharp as it could be mind you, but it is still a kool option that isn’t common to most budget audio mixers.For the price, I understand why this package doesn’t include a microphone in the box, but it would have been neat to have an all-in-one solution so that anyone could get started right away. So you will still need a decent quality mic beforehand.Overall, though, this is a pretty feature-rich unit given the modest asking price, and its ease of use goes a long way for both amateur and novice streamers alike.
