Tips for Using the Clamp
Correct
Position the adjustment screw above the table.Place the thick metal plate below the table.Ensure the bottom metal plate and side metal rod are fully aligned and pressed against the table.
Wrong
Reason: Through our multiple tests, having the screw positioned underneath the table makes adjustments inconvenient and increases the risk of the screw not being tightened securely.
Strong Metal
Correct direction transfers the force to the reinforced metal components and not solely to the screws, doubling the stability.

Pouch holder too big
Not terribly impressed with this grooming arm. First off, it came in an unmarked, plain, brown cardboard box, which is terrible if you’re wanting to gift this item. Secondly, The instructions are on a tiny little piece of paper and there are only pictures. There’s no words to describe how to put it together. Thankfully, it’s pretty self explanatory. But I always get irritated when companies can’t be bothered to give written instructions to boost the pictures. Third, there’s no explanation as to what the various attachments are used for or how to use them. I had to come back to the product page on Amazon to figure it out. Personally, I think the one that has the two loops on it is pretty worthless. If the loops are much larger than your dog, then your dog is just going to slide out of it. I was able to use the single loop and the hammock. But the hammock is the next thing. Fourth, the hammock is too big. My dog is 13 pounds and he fights grooming quite a bit. He wasn’t able to get out of the hammock, but he was able to manipulate himself around. His leg ended up coming out the back of the hammock and at one point, he managed to get his head into a leg hole, which really gave me a scare.There are some good things to this. It’s sturdy and stable enough that when I clamped it to my revolving table, it stayed put and I felt completely comfortable with my 13 pound dog in it. I didn’t feel like it was going to give way, break or drop him. Even though the hammock was too big, it did allow me to get his feet and legs brushed out, which I usually have struggles with. I still couldn’t get his nails trimmed though. His fighting me on his nails is what ended him up with body parts in the wrong openings. Another plus to this is that the price is good. I would have expected to spend more on a grooming arm like this.

Absolute garbage! The weight of my 15lb Chihuahua/poodle mix dog bent the mounting bracket. Do not purchase.

Good so i can work on my dogs by myself
I appreciate this device now let’s me elevate my dogs so I can work on their nails by myself without having to hold them and struggle to trim their nails, which is not their favorite activity. It holds on to my counter pretty well, and holds my 5lb dog and my 10 lb dog just fine, which i was worried about. It fully cradles their body so they can feel more secure. I’m glad it comes with 2 kinds of holders so when I’m done with their nails in the harness, I can switch to the neck and haunch holders in order to trim the fur around their butts. Super helpful if you have small dogs and want to save money on the groomer and trim them by yourself and don’t have anyone else to assist you. This is easy to use and is just like what professional groomers use.

Hammock too big, screws damage the finish
The hammock is too big for my 10-pound dogs. The height is adjustable by screwing in the arms crews, damaging the finish. The more you need to adjust it, for multiple dogs for instance, the faster it’s going to get chewed up by the screws. Since I don’t have a grooming table, this a nice alternative allowing me to use a normal table or workbench, and it doesn’t take up much space when not being used. The extra haunch holders were a nice inclusion, but I doubt I’ll use them as they are not adjustable. I’ve got to adjust the arm itself to get the right amount of tension in the haunch holders. Trying to adjust the arm while trying to hold the dog in place to get the right height is not my idea of a good time. So I’m a little torn about how much I like this arm, between ease of use, damaging it just using it as intended, and the hammock being too big.

Very flimsy
Pretty light weight. I had to return it because I couldn’t find a place to clamp it to.Even if I could have, I was concerned it wouldn’t hold my 7 pound dog.Cannot recommend.Best thing was the refund was prompt.

Nice Grooming Arm
I havenât used this for its intended purpose (grooming my dog) yet, but I actually bought it as a C-stand for photography purposes. So far, it looks sturdy and well-built, and Iâm hopeful itâll work for holding equipment. The height-adjustable feature is a nice touch, and the clamps seem solid.
