The Best Smart Watch EVER!
I’m old and sometimes I fall and can’t get up. I need a smartwatch for the Alexa Emergency Assist feature to interface with my Alexa Dot. I can’t afford the pricey medical alert subscriptions that go with the medallions that old people hang around their necks. This watch has so many features that I love. It does everything that the Apple watch does, and the telephone reception is amazing…in fact, this is the first time I have had a watch-phone right out of Dick Tracy.Before Google ‘acquired’ FitBit, I had one that wouldn’t hold a charge. I sent them a message about it and they promptly sent another FitBit, this time as a Google company, and it was even worse…and neither had a working telephone although the box said they did.(Now I am left with trying to find a way to recycle them. I sure wouldn’t want to give them to Goodwill so another person has to be disappointed.)

Tracking is just not great
I obtained this smartwatch for two reasons. The first reasons was because it had a metal band, I am sensitive to silicone. The most important reason is because this will work without having to use an app on my phone.I have a Fitbit. I like it, but do not like the app and monthly charge. I do not like the permissions you have to give to companies that are truly unknown entities when using apps for smartwatches. Their names are ones I have never heard of. Have you ever read even a portion of the agreement they want you to sign? The information they collect and keep on you? I have, and I am not sharing the plethora of information that they want!So I was holding hope that this watch would be satisfactory in performance. I was even willing to give it some grace because itbwould give me some privacy. I don’t need perfection, I am not an athlete training for anything. I simply want to improve my quality of life.This watch has the best battery life of anyone thatbI have tried. I am wearing this now for the eighth consecutive day again and it has 28% battery remaining. It typically lasts nine to ten days before charging.There are many options under the workout category. But I question it’s accuracy in measuring any of the biometrics aside from time. When at rest, I am sure they are very close to accurate, as my jurse friend checked them when we were together.Yet when I am doing any kind of activity, this watch will not give any reading. None at all. I have to stop completely to take a reading, and this takes a fairly long amount of time to measure heart rate. My heart rate drops significantly while it is being measured, which defeats the purpose entirely.I know for certain that this watch does not accurately count steps. How do I know this? Because I counted them. Then I used my Fitbit on one wrist and the smartwatch on the other. The smartwatch measured 120 steps less than the Fitbit.I had my friend reprogram the watch to her height and weight and wear it against her Apple watch. It was 121 steps less than the Apple watch.I had another friend reprogram this and compare it to their Samsung watch. It was 123 steps off. At least it is consistent in it’s rate of inaccuracy. This was I know the ratio I have to use to calculate the real amount of steps I took every day.But who really wants to do that much math every single day?It does not accurately measure sleep because I spend much of the night laying awake, but meditating. The watch records this as sleeping. I find this odd as other watches track this as wakefulness, even my cpap machine app tracks this as being awake. This watch may just not be very sensitive.So basically I have a very attractive watch that doesn’t work quite right in the ways I need it too. But it is free.The size is a bit large, but I have a very small wrist. The metal band is not comfortable because the adjustable band slips underneath the closure and sits against the skin. This grows quite irritating.If you are looking for a basic smartwatch to give you a general idea of where you are at, then this is for you. I am unsure if using the app or using the subscription would make this perform better.

Ho scelto questo smartwatch TOOBUR principalmente per la sua versatilità, ma il colore rosa acceso è stato un piacevolissimo “colpo di fulmine”. Contrariamente all’estetica spesso austera degli orologi da uomo, questa tonalità vivace lo rende un accessorio fashion, perfetto per chi ama osare. Lo indosso ogni giorno e ricevo sempre complimenti per l’originalità!**Connessione e chiamate**: Collegarlo al mio smartphone via Bluetooth è stato immediato. Ricevo notifiche di WhatsApp, email e SMS direttamente al polso, e rispondere alle chiamate è comodissimo quando sono in giro (anche se, come specificato, non si possono rispondere ai messaggi). L’unico limite? A volte le notifiche arrivano con un leggero ritardo, ma nulla di grave.**Assistente vocale e app**: Scaricando “VeryFit”, ho integrato l’assistente vocale per controllare le luci smart di casa e impostare promemori. È intuitivo, anche se non sempre riconosce i comandi complessi al primo tentativo. La sezione meteo è precisa, però spero in futuri aggiornamenti per una UI più fluida.**Fitness e resistenza**: Con oltre 100 modalità sportive, è un compagno fedele. Lo uso in palestra, in piscina (grazie all’IP68!) e persino in trekking. Il monitoraggio della frequenza cardiaca è accurato, e gli avvisi sullo stress mi aiutano a gestire le pause. Attenzione però: durante la corsa intensa, il GPS a volte perde sincronizzazione con l’app.**Sonno e batteria**: Il tracciamento del sonno è dettagliato (REM, leggero, profondo), ma se dormo meno di 3 ore, i dati non vengono registrati. Dopo una settimana d’uso, l’app mi ha suggerito di ridurre la caffeina serale… funziona! La batteria? Una garanzia: dopo 8 giorni di utilizzo (notifiche attive, 1-2 allenamenti al giorno), ho ancora il 20%. Ricarico veloce e zero ansia da “batteria scarica”.**Schermo e personalizzazione**: Lo schermo da 1,83″ è nitido e luminoso, anche sotto il sole. Ho personalizzato il quadrante con una foto delle mie vacanze al mare: l’effetto è chic e rende l’orologio davvero “mio”. Peccato che alcune opzioni di design preimpostate siano un po’ troppo basic.**Conclusioni**: Questo smartwatch è un ottimo compromesso tra prezzo e prestazioni. Il rosa audace lo distingue dalla massa, e le funzioni base (chiamate, fitness, batteria) sono solide. Qualche bug minore c’è, ma per under 100€ è difficile chiedere di più. Lo consiglio a chi cerca un mix di stile, durata e tecnologia… purché non si disdegnino i colori fuori dagli schemi!—**PS**: Se temete che il rosa sia “troppo”, sappiate che è un tono caldo e moderno, non sgargiante. Perfetto anche per chi vuole rompere la monotonia del nero!
