The only thing that works
I have major sleep issues. These are the only pills that knock my hind end OUT with only one or two pills and you can’t get them in stores anymore, or I don’t see them around where I live anymore.

It works like a charm!
I have always had difficulty sleeping, sometimes taking up to 2 or 3 hours to fall asleep some nights. Now, as a freshman in college, those few hours lost are crucial to my performance and attention the next day. Because of this, I tried Sominex and it works great. I’ve taken it for about a month and a half now and I fall asleep in under an hour (even less most of the time) as long as I’m trying to fall asleep. I wake up feeling refreshed and can still sleep without Sominex whenever I don’t need to fall asleep quickly. The only thing I would suggest is that users make sure that they have at least ~7 hours before having to wake up; trying to wake up before then on Sominex is incredibly unpleasant in my experience and the afternoon slump will hit you even harder if you haven’t slept enough the night before. The medicine also tastes terrible if you can’t swallow it whole. Other than that though, I would say that this is a pretty good buy if you’re having trouble sleeping and don’t want to get a prescription. In short, it has helped me fall asleep, stay asleep, and it doesn’t make me groggy in the morning as long as I’ve devoted enough hours to sleep before trying to get up. Pretty darn good by my book.

Helps Me Sleep
I am one of those included in the statistic of people with sleep problems. I must use a sleep aide almostevery night. I use 3 different brands of over the counter sleep aides and alternate them. I don’t want my body to get usedto one brand. I find Sominex extra strength to be one of the best sleep aides around. It gives me a full night’ssleep of around 7 hours. Even if I wake up in the middle of the night, I can fall back to sleep. I do not geta drowsy after effect with this sleep aide. It works for me.

Good Night’s Sleep is Worth the Price
I take 1 caplet per night and sleep seven hours straight. It generally takes 30 minutes or so to kick in. I wake up without an alarm clock and do not feel groggy. Granted it’s benadryl, but who cares? I would suggest starting at a lower dosage than the directions recommend and building up by 1/2 caplet as needed. Different people of varying weights might need different dosages, more or less. Works great for anxious pets too — e.g., on Fourth of July when fireworks and firecrackers can drive a dog nuts.
