Sports Research Whey Protein powder very highly recommended
As another reviewer noted, mixes easily with water without clumping. I appreciate the added amino acids, including L-Leucine which decreases appetite, potassium, iron, calcium and Vit D3. The Dutch Chocolate flavor is delicious. I like the sturdy packaging that eliminates the problem of disposing heavy duty gallon size plastic jars in which other protein products I’ve tried are shipped. This gluten free product has no carageenan seaweed thickener/emulsifier/preservative that irritates my digestive tract. 60 scoops per bag. I’m blending 1 scoop with 12 oz water, 2 T whipping cream, and 4 ice cubes. 16 fats, 4 net carbs, 25 prot. An affordable, easily stored, long-lived addition to food storage supplies.

Protein w/ Hair Growth Benefit! – 2024
OBSERVATION: I purchased his product before while on my hair growth journey. I did not intend to use it for hair growth since I was using it for my workout routine. After finishing my previous bag, I want to explain why I’m repurchasing this.PROS:- This bag LASTS; as someone who takes protein shakes occasionally, I love this large unit with a long expiration date, so it doesn’t feel like it will go to waste (try to purchase during SALES).- No stomach aches with an excellent taste! I dislike the “protein” taste of protein powders, and the chocolate flavor tastes like chocolate milk when I mix it with my vanilla almond milk.- Hair growth???? I grew my hair like crazy! I’ve been taking monthly hair growth pictures and checking hair length for my 4c hair journey, and after consistently doing this for a month, my hair was strong and grew longer than in previous months! Amino acids create the structure of strong and healthy hair.CONS: – The only con is the price. Most protein powders are expensive but do not taste right or are in small quantities.OVERALL: I am very picky about protein powders, so I am so happy that I found this product!

Creamy Vanilla is not a good flavor! Dutch Choc. great flavor no aftertaste, no steviol & mixes well
Creamy Vanilla has a terrible aftertaste due to the use of steviol (i believe). It provides good value for the protein but has a terrible aftertaste that overpowers everything (i have even tried to mix a small amount in with the Dutch Chocolate (1:3 ratio) and it takes over, ruining the drink.I enjoy the Dutch Chocolate flavor. It provides a good amount of protein for the price, does not contain steviol (no aftertaste), mixes well in my morning coffee.

Better than Chocolate Milk
I’m not a protein shake person, but this powder is DELICIOUS!! I mixed it with whole milk, and it mixed very easily (only 2-3 minutes in a shaker bottle). Tastes better than the chocolate milk you get from some grocery stores. Honestly wouldn’t realize it was a protein shake if someone didn’t tell me.

Taste & Texture — both fantastic
I’m really impressed with this whey protein! The taste and texture are both excellent, whether I’m mixing it with milk, water, or incorporating it into yogurt or oatmeal. It has a rich, chocolatey flavor without being overly sweet or having that fake aftertaste some proteins do.Currently, I’m on a cut and struggling to hit my protein goals, so having 2–3 servings of this daily between meals has been a lifesaver. It mixes smoothly (I use a shaker) and is super versatile. I’ll definitely order it again once I run out. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a delicious, reliable chocolate protein powder!

Good Macros and Great taste
The vanilla tastes similar to a birthday cake flavor, which I like. Very clean ingredients in the vanilla ( chocolate doesn’t). Very good value for something that includes BCAAs.

Mixes Like Magic
I’ve tried dozens of protein powders, and none of them mix like this. I use a shaker, and not only are there zero clumps, but there’s no foam either. When I down a shaker full of this stuff and take the top off so I can clean up, there’s no remnants in the cup whatsoever. Decent taste, a bit rich for me, but overall this is the best flavored protein powder I’ve ever had.Some powders will fill up with bubbles or foam after like 15 seconds of shaking, which is a pain to drink and a waste of money/powder. Some powders clump so badly that you have to choose between using a blender or chewing your shake. But this one just mixes.

Great taste and value but watch out if you have a sensitive stomach
The chocolate flavor is one of the best of any protein powder I’ve tried and the quality is fantastic.I don’t enjoy the vanilla flavor as much but it’s good for mixing into other foods.Unfortunately, this product causes me pretty bad stomach discomfort and acid reflux which I’ve never had from a protein powder before. I’m honestly not sure what ingredient it could be.Mixing it with other foods such as yogurt or into smoothies helps a little bit, but it will take me awhile to get through by 10lb backlog. I wish I could give it a higher rating!

I was excited about this but then it was so sweet I couldn’t handle it. I tried it simply with water and also with yogurt … way to sweet for me and I know that the sweetener in this will eliminate the benefits of protein.

Over the last 20 yrs of hitting the gym and supplementing my diet with protein powders I have never tasted something so … hideous as this.As other reviewers here have written, it has a sickenly sweet chemical taste. It absolutely is not “vanilla” by any stretch. And the taste is overpowering too – I added a double espresso shot to the smoothie and cannot taste a hint of coffee, the “off” taste is just that strong.It’s a shame because I’d come to trust Sports Research for a lot of my other supplements.
