I read the reviews and thought “Okay, sounds good, I’ll give it a try. But it’s a PEELER, how amazing can it be?” I underestimated the experience, it really is amazing! This thing is like a hot knife through butter. It actually leaves a shiny surface, that’s how smoothly it works. Practically no effort, and much faster than any peeler I’ve ever owned before – and I’m 70 so that’s a lot of peelers. I’ve never had one shaped like this either – very comfortable. I almost wish I had more things to peel just so I can use it.ETA – just got back from the ER… Believe the reviews when you read how this thing is super sharp…

Sweet little peeler! Works as advertised!
Never thought I’d review a vegetable peeler! However, this is a sweet little piece, and I want to take the opportunity to say so. The handle is nice and ergonomic, the blade is sharp, and it peels carrots and potatoes very easily. I had been rebuilding my stock of kitchen implements after losing them all last year in a house fire and had been missing a good peeler. I took a chance on this one, and glad I did. It’s very nice. The size is perfect for my hands, the blade is sharp, and I’m very glad to have it in my collection of kitchen tools! Good value for the money is what I’d say bottom line.

Sooooo nice to use
This is the best peeler I have ever owned.I didn’t know I would notice a big difference! I usually have had OXO products, and I’ve liked them well enough — but this thing is really good to use. The grip is good, the blade is very very sharp, and for some reason it seemed more “ergonomic.” The potato peeling over the holidays was much faster and cleaner than usual.I appreciate they provided a plastic cover for the blade. It will surely get lost, but it’s nice for now.

Incredibly smooth
I mean, it’s a peeler, right? But this thing makes peeling almost effortless. It is just so smooth. It’s like it just glides over a potato. Actually a little deceptive. First time out it was so smooth that I was holding the potato wrong, and tried to peel one of my fingers! The ergonomics are great, too. The way the handle is created, it is a very natural fit. Also, because it is so sharp, that little plastic cover for the blade is very welcome and easy to put on and take off. I consider this one of the best “value for the money” purchases I’ve ever made. It’s really THAT good.

I’d only used rigid peelers before but this makes peeling so much easier and quicker.I’ve had this for a year now and feels as sharp as it was new. Has been in the dishwasher several times. I typically peel carrots, butternut squash, sweet potato, courgette.
