Worked Great For a Picky Baby
My 12 month old was having tantrums when we offered any kind of straw or sippy cup. If it wasnât his bottle, he was mad about it. I picked this transition straw up since he is used to comotomo bottles. He accepted it on the first try with just a little confusion. This is much easier to clean than the munchkin straw cup and fits the bottle perfectly. I will say it leaks a bit at the mouth when heâs been latched a good while, but Iâm thinking that just him not being used to using it properly. It got us off bottles, and I am happy. The plan is to transition him to the hard straw cups that my 3 year old uses as soon as he will accept it.

Great Transition to Straw Cup for Milk
My baby fussed for like 2 days and then naturally got used to drinking her milk from the straw. For context, I transitioned her to whole milk when she was 1yr and then transitioned to the straw for milk when she was 1yr & 2mo. I tried other straw cups for her milk and she refused and this worked great because she thinks itâs the same thing lol. Fit is great! No leaks and quality is also great.

Great transition tool, handles are a hassle
I love these for my baby to help him drink without lifting the bottle. They’re not the easiest to clean and they are not impact proof. The tubing for the straw is very thin. Thankfully they included a small pipe cleaner with it. The pieces come apart easy enough, but it’s a bit of a chore to clean well.We have tile floors, so one side of the plastic crossbar broke after a couple drops. It still works! That’s the only issue we had with the straw setup.I think the handles on this are terribly annoying. They make closing the bottle difficult. We don’t use them at all.Despite a couple issues, I’m looking at buying another set! I love that I can get more use out of these bottles. This is also a great first step to baby’s independence. They are able to drink from the bottle without having to lift it.

Excellent exactly what i needed!
My son waa previously bteastfed until he gave it up. He was on kiinde bags and i switched to the kiinde sippy spout and he took thay great. He didnt like tipping a sippy cup for milk. I hate cleaning the munchkin weighted straw cup. I thought i found the right solution with the nuby cup cause it had both the sippy spout and a weighted straw but alas the straw attachment wouldfall out with milk cause of the fat.So far i really like this thing. It comes apart easily. For most thorough cleaning you still have to take the system apart into 4 pieces: the nipple, inner bendy straw, the bit that attaches the straw to the nipple (very tightly and securely may i say) and the weight. But unlike lets say the munchkin weighted straw cup all the parts are straightforward to clean. No crazy complicated nooks and crannies. Just need a thin straw cleaning brush like the one that comes with the munchkin (disappointed that thia rather pricy kit doesnt come with a brush) and another small brush. I love that all the parts that touch milk are silicone. The como is so much easier to clean than a standard sippy. The cup will leak only if squeezed. Understandable since it is soft silicone and thats just what happens same as if you squeezed the como with the standard nipple. The handles arent “attached” but sit between the bottle rings and the nipple. The only issue with that is it can kind of tip while attaching the nipple and then you can screw the top on wrong and it will leak. So just be careful to screw it on properly. Not an issue in my book.Nipple is made from nice soft silicone. Very good material. Seems comfortable to use.I think itll make a perfect milk cup. He likes it so far and took to it better than anythingAlso i did cut the inner straw part about an inch because it’s very long and gets bent too much inside a 5oz cup. With an 8oz itd be perfect.

Great Transitional Top, but doesnât hold up well
I unintentionally taught my baby to fall asleep with his bottle, so switching to a sippy cup was kind of tricky. I tried a few things, and while he was able to use them, he just didnât WANT to. So finally, after he had chewed through two comotomo nipples in a week, I decided to try this out.The only reason Iâm giving it as much as 3 stars is because it did work well as a transitional thing. He was more willing to use it than the other sippy cups, and he figured it out relatively quickly. Unfortunately these tops just donât last very long, and for $12 itâs a little pricey to keep replacing them.My guy is a bit of a chewer, and while the sippy spout lasts a lot longer than the nipples (about 4 times as long), it still eventually gets chewed up to shreds.Additionally, the parts that connect to the inside of the spout to keep it all no-spill eventually just come apart for no reason. The first week it worked great, but now I usually find both parts have disconnected from the tube and the spout when I find it empty on the floor or in the crib. Once these parts become disconnected from the spout, the spout will leak until thereâs no liquid sitting in it, which can some times be quite a bit if, say, your baby falls asleep holding it. I often find by baby laying on wet sheets from this leaking all night, though luckily he doesnât seem to care much. The little parts and tubes are easy to rinse, but not easy to clean, and over time they will accumulate milk or whatever youâre putting into the bottle, and get sort of gross looking. Luckily (?) the whole thing usually needs to be replaced anyway by this point. In many ways I like this top a lot, I just wish it held up better. I also wish I didnât need to order a whole set with the handles every time, I would love to be able to just order the sippy cup tops individually for a lower price.Feel free to give it a shot if your baby loves his comotomo, but just be aware youâre going to have to switch to a legitimate sippy cup ASAP or replace this thing every 3 or 4 weeks.

It is really good that you don’t need to buy bottles, then few months later replace them with sippy cups. But just buy bottles for newborn Como tomo) and when they are ready replace the nipples with this one, you are using same bottle.I like it, no, I love it.

Bought these to transition our baby from bottles to sippy cup. They fit perfectly and are built well. A little pricy for what they are, but they did their job.
