A starter’s Guide to Herbal Medicine
First off, this book is huge! It features an amazing amount of herbal remedy recipes for common ailments and general wellness, as well as a section detailing the various uses for many medicinal herbs. Since it’s an ebook, you can search for your specific herb or affliction, making this an incredibly useful reference for anyone looking for natural solutions to common ailments. These days with all the high prices and side effects of traditional medicine I have been thinking of trying more natural ways to heal ailments and sickness. It warns you that even though it’s natural it can be dangerous and tells you what you need to do to make sure you keep it safe. I really love that in chapter four they tell you how to make herbal remedies. I have been looking for a good herbal cough medicine. This time of year we are always fighting a cough and the over the counter cough syrups have so many side effects that I would rather not take it and suffer. Now I have a good herbal recipe with stuff I already have in my cupboard. They give you a long list of all of the healing herbs and what they heal. It’s amazing to know that something like asthma and diabetes. I really can’t wait to try some natural deodorant and some recipes for dry skin. Even though I received this book for free I am very happy I read this book and look forward to becoming more natural in my daily life. Curious about natural remedies, I enjoyed the many safety tips included in the guide. For example, a remedy that’s safe for adults may be unsafe for children but there are child-centric remedies as well. You’ll learn how to grow and make your own remedies, but not without knowing what to watch out for first.Overall Verdict: If youâre like me and fairly new to preparing herbal remedies, I highly recommend this book. If youâre already advanced at herbal remedies it may not be your best fit.Disclosure: I received free copy of this book for review purposes. My opinions are my own.

Easy, Honest Holistic Medicine
First off, this book is huge! It features an amazing amount of herbal remedy recipes for common ailments and general wellness, as well as a section detailing the various uses for many medicinal herbs. Since it’s an ebook, you can search for your specific herb or affliction, making this an incredibly useful reference for anyone looking for natural solutions to common ailments. While the recipes are great, this handbook includes a wealth of important information as well. Curious about natural remedies, I enjoyed the many safety tips included in the guide. For example, a remedy that’s safe for adults may be unsafe for children–but there are child-centric remedies as well. You’ll learn how to grow and make your own remedies, but not without knowing what to watch out for first.Obviously, this book makes the case for herbal medicine and holistic practices, but it’s upfront and honest as well: these remedies aren’t for everyone, and natural remedies won’t fix everything. But for many common ailments, you can seek relief in your own backyard. I recommend this guide for anyone interested in holistic, natural medicine, as well as anyone who’s interested in the history of primitive and ancient use of these herbs.

Great Book- Very Informative
The reason why I have shied away from Herbal Medicine is because there seems to be overwhelming information out there and it’s just too much to comprehend. Information overload. But what I like about this book is that it starts out very simple explaining the history of herbal medicine and it’s purposes and what it’s like today. It teaches you how to buy, make, and grow it. You get a simple list of healing herbs and a list of herbal remedies for common ailments, in addition to remedies for skin and beauty such as acne and psoriasis. I think the mistake a lot of people make with decisions on using herbal medicine is thinking that it is all or nothing but this book clearly states that there are times when it is necessary to use modern medicine. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to my friends an family and will also use it as a reference from now on. I feel empowered in the idea of using herbal medicine.I received compensation in the form of free product, cash, or other forms of compensation in exchange for a fair and unbiased review. All opinions are 100% mine.

Herbal medicine for the win
Ok so I honestly bought this book after seeing a TikTok about a DIFFERENT book. This one is perfect. Itâs easy to read and not too wordy. It lays out all the herbs at the beginning telling you how they aid your body and later on gives you recipes to make your own herbal medicine. I really wanted something easy to flip through because letâs be honest, I donât want to spend a ton of time reading about herbsâ¦. I just want to get better when Iâm sick. 10/10.
