Best water bottle on the market if you like refreshingly cold water.
IMHO this is the best “hydration bottle” on the market bar none. They are absolutely leek proof no matter how they are carried and really do keep your beverages icy cold for 12 hours or longer depending where the bottle is kept, at the beach vs in the office. This is the 3rd Thermos bottle that I’ve purchased. I lost my first one so replaced that one and I use it daily and keep it on the bed stand during the night in case I wake up thirsty. I purchased this blue hydration bottle for my husband as his doctor told him some of his medical issues were due to not drinking enough water during the day especially when we travel. Now he fills his bottle in the morning and keeps it by his computer or TV table as a reminder to drink frequently and stay hydrated. To my surprise we were recently leaving on a short trip for the weekend and about to pull out of the driveway when he suddenly stopped and said, “I need to go back into the house as I forgot my water bottle.” It’s a visable reminder for him to stay hydrated and stay healthy. Having the convenient 18oz bottle of cold water always handy makes it so easy for him to follow his doctors orders to drink more water and his good lab tests are reflecting his change to drinking more water. Made of unbreakable stainless steel inside and out and 100% BPA free are added pluses. We especially like the fact that there is a cover over the drinking spout that keeps that area clean and protected. Its push button lid can be operated with one hand making it easy to open even with arthritic hands. It fits nicely in the cup holders of our vehicles as well as the outside pocket of my purse and/or backpack. I know it will be an addition on his golf cart this summer as well as when we are boating and fishing. Definitely a winning product; plus we feel good about not adding to the waste of plastic bottles when we don’t need to. We had no trouble clearing airport security with our water bottles on a recent trip to Italy and they saved us a lot of Euros by not buying bottled water every morning. Even when we did need to refill the bottle we always poured the purchased water into our Thermos bottles to keep it cold and refreshing. The bottom line is they are worth the price; we use our Thermos Hydration bottles daily and would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

A wonderful vacuum bottle
After a recommendation I got from a video blog, I checked this out. I read the 1 ad 2 star reviews first (as always) and the comments to these reviews. I determined that the main problem was the blue silicone seal in the cap splitting and needing replacement. Replacement seals are available from Thermos for a moderate cost. I also found out that the seals were splitting prematurely because users were cranking down on the top too hard. The excellent seal only needed to be turned slightly past contact to fully seal, some users were getting several years out of the Thermos with no problems at all. I ordered it, it came quickly, and I love it. Opens with one hand, easy to drink from, closes with one hand. Nice easy to grip rubber cover wrapped around the middle, fits most car cup holders, easy to clean the cap and inside. Keeps ice for a very long time (more than overnight). A friend fills it with ice and water in the morning. As he drinks the water during the day he pours in more cold water in the remaining ice. This Thermos provides him ice water all day long and at the end of the day there is still some ice left. Very nicely designed. Has a latch to prevent accidental opening. NOT FOR HOT DRINKS, YOU CAN SCALD YOUR MOUTH BECAUSE THIS IS NOT A SIPPING BOTTLE. However, it will keep warm drinks warm, just don’t drink hot drinks out of it. I love it and am glad I got this. Just remember, DO NOT TIGHTEN THE CAP VERY TIGHT, OR YOU WILL DAMAGE THE SEAL PREMATURELY. The color of the stainless steel bottle is a very deep purplish-blue, so dark it looks black in subdued light. But it looks great. NOTE: NOT FOR CARBONATED DRINKS, THE PRESSURE FROM CARBONATION CAN MAKE THIS BOTTLE LEAK PAST ITS SEAL.

I absolutely love this thermos! I have purchased ALL of the colors directly from Amazon (Thermos Vacuum Insulated 18 Ounce Stainless Steel Hydration Bottle, Midnight Blue, Thermos Nissan 18-Ounce Stainless-Steel Hydration Bottle, Thermos 18-Ounce Stainless-Steel Hydration Bottle, Brown, and Thermos 18-Ounce Stainless-Steel Hydration Bottle, Charcoal). I use the thermos primarily for my kids. They have used it for well over a year. They take their thermoses with them to school EVERY day so that have cold water at their desks to drink throughout the day. I put 7-8 pieces of ice inside and fill it to the top with cold water. The water stays ice cold for 24 hours (not being exposed to direct sunlight or extreme heat). And, it doesn’t sweat!They are easy for my kids to open, drink and close. The thermoses have never leaked … and this is with them just being stored/carried on the side mesh compartment their backpacks. They have survived NUMEROUS drops to the concrete and tile flooring. They do have some minor dings/dents, but nothing major. We also use it at baseball practices and games to stay hydrated. This thermos fits easily in the drink holder of most vehicles. It is very easy to wash and keep clean. I wrote their names on the side and bottom with a Sharpie marker.I like this thermos so much, that I bought a back-up, as well as one for each person in our family. I also gave some as birthday and Christmas gifts last year. This same exact Thermos (with the Under Armour logo it) sells for $30+ in our local sporting goods store. Do check the pricing because it varies on each color, AND the midnight blue one was the only color eligible for the 4-for-3 promo (as of the date of this review).

I love this thermos. I fill it with very hot tea at 8:30am. At 2pm it is still hot. Not burning, but hot. I do not preheat it, but if I did it would likely be burning hot in the afternoon. It holds 3 large mugs of tea for me which i drink throughout the day. The pour through lid is the best design I have ever seen, beautifully done and interesting: you never have to open the inner lid or touch the spout to pour, so the spout — and your beverage — stays germ free and very hot. You just press the red button and the spout pops open. To close, you push a tiny lever and the little spout snaps closed. Just remember to use the lever to close the little spout; your inclination will be to push on the spout to close it, but don’t because you might wreck the clever mechanism. The cup does not get hot so holding it is no problem. It takes up very little room in your bag because the handle also snaps closed and lays flat against the thermos. When you want to carry or pour, you pull on the handle and it pops up with a nice “snap!” sound. Very, very sturdy. This is a very elegant looking thermos. Big enough for several cups of beverage; small enough to drop into a purse or tote or briefcase. I am buying two more for family.

The rubber grip slips off the bottle when it’s wet and the weather is hot, but otherwise this is my 3rd purchase. It keeps my drink cold, and the size of the opening is just right.

This is my second bottle, I lost the first after years of use. I use it as my cycling bottle because I love the lid. It protects the drinking nozzle from road spray and dirt while as an easy one hand, thumb press quick release for on the go drink. Put a few ice cubes in and it keeps my drink cold on a hot days ride.Tough enough to take falls on pavement or stone.
