Smells and works great!
After my grandmother died of Alzheimer’s disease, I read about possible links from aluminum and higher risks of developing Alzheimer’s disease. I was shocked to find out most aluminum is absorbed through their deodorant stick. I was able to purchase Tom’s of Maine Natural Deodorant Stick, Aluminum-free, Lavender, 2.25-Ounce Stick in a pack of 6 from amazon for about 1/2 the price it would have cost me at my local store.I know people have different reactions to different products, but for me and my family, we really love Tom’s of Maine natural deodorant. For those reviewers that wrote about breaking out in rashes, my suggestion is to thoroughly dry your armpits after a shower before putting this on. I had a mild reaction before I realized I was putting it on wet skin. Putting it on dry skin cleared up and has since created no issues.The lavender scented ones are our absolute favorite. It is not overwhelming or overpowering, just a fresh clean scent that neutralizes the smell of sweat. Other (non-natural) deodorants use chemicals to block your sweat glands. Not only may that result in higher risks to certain ailments, but it is blocking the body’s natural cooling system. We sweat to cool our bodies and to release toxins.This is a fresh scent and natural way to smell fresh. I highly recommend.

The only long-lasting deodorant that doesn’t give me a rash
I was happy with Old Spice for a decade — then they changed the formula and my armpits turned red and burned. I tried several other “hypo-allergenic” deodorants including Arm & Hammer and many of the “natural” products at Whole Foods. Then I discovered Potassium Alum. That worked! No rash and no smell, at least until I broke a sweat. When I sweat, the alum washes away and then I smell bad. And Alum doesn’t work after a workout. My doctor recommended Tom’s of Maine. It works for me. No rash. No smell. Works anytime and every time.

A tradeoff!
It is not an antiperspirant nor necessarily a good deodorant so why does our family continue to buy a product that does not work as a deodorant? It does not contain aluminum and does not cause any irritation in our armpits. All brand name deodorants contain aluminum which acts as an antiperspirant as well as parabens. After a while with every true antiperspirant, we always end up with a rash or soreness from them and have to stop using them. They also throw a good stain in the armpits of blouses and shirts which are hard if not impossible to remove. The natural deodorants are stain free. Bottom line- we find this product and the other natural ones acceptable. They do enough to block odor and a little on reducing the sweat to suffice and never have rashes or stains.

I’ve been searching for a deodorant that won’t bother my skin. I’ve tried many anti-perspirants but they all invariably bother my skin, some of them even causing an awful red rash.I’ve been using Tom’s for a couple of weeks now and my rash has gone away and i have no issues whatsoever.I work in construction and i sweat profusely throughout the day but Tom’s is able to keep up and keep me smelling fresh all day long.I’m not a big fan of the lemon smell but it’s better than the alternative!

Description pas correcte et décevante, donc faut faire un retour. J’ai reçu 1, et pas 6. Dommage, comme j’aime bien le produit.

das Produkt, ist parfümfrei, geruchsneutral und zeigt auch nach längerem gebrauch perfekte Wirkung ohne Reizung, wir haben es uns zuerst direkt in USA gekauft und waren so begeistert, dass wir es uns haben schicken lassen. Nicht ganz günstig, aber den Preis einfach Wert.
