My 11yo chihuahua has IVDD, slipped disk, not able to control his back legs & difficulty walking, he’s on medication & strict bed rest, I immediately ordered these & he loves them, gets excited when I grab the container. Iâm just one had down and donât see much improvement.Butâ¦I feel like with these types of things you donât really see a huge improvement. Itâs more about preventing further damage while trying to mitigate pain a little.My SUPER picky old man bulldog absolutely LOVES these. I crumble 2 (his dose) in his food. Trust me when I say he looks forward to breakfast- lol.I will continue to keep him on these and will provide an update in a couple of months.

Just started these for my elderly dogs and they love them so that’s good. They weren’t sure at first and my picky ones did the whole “I’ll barely take this in my front teeth while eyeballing mom suspiciously” thing, haha. But once they actually tasted it, they were begging for more.The thing that I’m unsure about is the salt listed on the ingredients list. I really hope that’s not what makes these black treats sparkle – because they look like there’s glitter mixed in there and that would be a LOT of salt for a dog. I know it’s a preservative but elderly dogs especially don’t need excessive amounts of salt.I’m gonna have to lick one, aren’t I? The things I do for my dogs, sheesh.So anyway…the ingredients list says these are gonna be great (though if you’ve got one with a chicken allergy, beware). It has all of the main things needed for joint health like l-taurine, chondroitin, MSM and clearly lists their values per serving.The little cardboard can they come in is super cute, and not gigantically oversized like a lot of places do. It just big enough to fit the treats in, and sealed well with a foil pull top under the lid. Then the lid actually fits back on tightly so these should arrive fresh and stay that way, which is nice.They’re a little costly if you’ve got big dogs but their comfort is worth it if it helps. I wish they’d do a rewards program, like “buy 10 and your 11th is free!” But if these do help, I’ll be a customer for life regardless.Oh and they’re made in the USA and support shelter pets, so that alone is worth a couple extra bucks.

A Must For French Bulldogs
As a momma to 2 French Bulldogs, supplements like this are a must! Thankfully my girls are very well taken care of. My blue is almost 10, she had complete reconstructive surgery (FHO) on her left hip when she was 2, she healed amazingly and has been in perfect health all her life, even at 10, people think shes 2-3 years old, about 2 weeks ago she had a slight limp in the morning, I took her straight to the vet, they took her to the back to examine and walk her to see what her hip was doing, while I was waiting I ordered these because it couldnt hurt to add these to her & my almost 5 year old frenchies vitamin regimen, they had to walk her back and forth then have her run back and forth for her finally to limp or skip, thankfully it turned out to be a minor pulled muscle, she was perfectly fine 2 days later. But as a momma to 2 frenchies, a breed that is know for spine, hip and bone issues, I will be adding this to their breakfast meals for the rest of their lives.

Good ingredients
I have two Cardigan Welsh Corgis and give them joint support regularly. This product says spine and disc, but I think would still offer joint support. My dogs are 10 and 9 years old and very active. I compete in agility and rally with my 10 year old girl. My 9 year old boy has a minor shoulder injury and does have some hip pain, so I’m always on the lookout for good supplements for them. Both dogs have been doing well while taking these supplements, my boy is pain free and my girl runs enthusiastically!I like the packaging. It’s a heavy cardboard ‘jar’ that can be recycled.My dogs aren’t picky and I put the chews in their breakfast. So far there have been no tummy upsets or refusing to eat the chews, but to be honest there isn’t much they refuse to eat.Good value.

Ate one and got diarrhea, now refuses them.
My 5 year old Dachshund has IVVD and I had hopes these would help her. She ate one the day these came, then a few hours later she had diarrhea. Iâve offered them every day since but she refuses them. I may have to return them.
