simplest and most reliable phone holder that won’t bust your vents or go up your dashboard
this is gonna be one of the most simple but studious phone holders for an automobile takes up no room doesn’t bust the air vents like those ones they clip on. It’ll hold your phone through some of the biggest bumps in the road around here. We have Costco missing in some of the potholes. I just find this to be one of the finest phone holders. There is you can go landscape and portrait just a flick of the wrist no brackets no nothing. Just a simple little metal tab on the back of your phone. Highly recommended mentioned it to two of my friends they have installed it and like it very much. I don’t know if this helps you make a decision, but I know I’m happy with it. One last thing if it doesn’t stay, stuck in the heat, put a tiny dab of gorilla glue and tape it on with some kind of tape let it sit overnight. It’ll never fall off. Do this of your own free will I will not except any responsibility for any outcomes I only say it because I did it for myself. You do what you want.

Ideal phone mount
Two improvements of last product that was similar. Magnetic plate on the mount is welded to the mount instead of a separate piece. And the design and look is much better than shiny round ball. Great mount. Not sure why folks like the big bulky ones. Super streamline and innocuous.

Amazing car mount
I have a Chrysler town and country van. I didn’t want a window phone mount. This worked perfectly for our cross country move. It holds my phone securely. It’s very sturdy, had no issues on bumpy roads, and held my phone with the otterbox on nicely. When not in use the mount is discreet. 10/10 recommend!

Phone: Pixel 6 pro – 6.5″ tall, 3″ wide, .35″ thickThe magnetic mount adheres to your dashboard with an adhesive strip, for best results follow the directions provided with the product! Clean the surface with the provided alcohol pad, let it dry for a couple minutes, adhere the mount to your dashboard, press firmly for about a minute. They recommend letting it sit for 24 hours before using, and this is probably a good idea, but I found it was pretty well sealed in place after 3-4 hours.The metallic disc you adhere to the back of your phone they recommend letting it sit for an hour before using, I would actually recommend letting it sit for at least 3+ hours as well. The first disc I used immediately came off the phone when removing it from the magnetic mount in the car. Thankfully, they provide a total of 4 discs (2 large, 2 small). This also may just speak to how powerful of a magnet is being used, it provides a VERY strong grip on the phone- which is great.Driving over bumps my phone doesn’t move at all, and unlike many of the plastic “arm” or “tray” type phone mounts there’s no creaking/movement of the mount at all. The mount itself also takes significantly less space than the aforementioned mount types.If your phone supports wireless charging, do be mindful of where you place the metal disc on the back of the phone. If you cover the wireless charging contact area, it will no longer work (their instructions do caution this). On my phone I had to place the bottom edge of the metal disc about 1/4″ up from bottom of the phone, otherwise it would not charge on my wireless charging surface. You can test this out by simply placing the metallic disc under the phone (not adhering it) on the charging surface and see where you need to place the disc and still be able to wirelessly charge.Even though that makes the anchor point like 4/5 of the way down the phone, the magnet is easily strong enough to not make this an issue. If you don’t have wireless charging, then you can really place the disc wherever you want on the back of the phone and I can confidently say the magnet will have no problem holding the phone in place, it really can’t be understated enough how strong this magnet is!

THIS IS A MARVELOUS PRODUCT!
THIS THING IS A GEM! I bought one of these two years ago and am still using it on my metal dashboard. I had to replace the adhesive a couple of times (we have severe weather – 20 F to 90+F.) but there are extra adhesive mounts included. The swivel head is great and the magnet is STRONG. I was going to buy another one but there is also a pack of replacement adhesive available to purchase.

I contacted caw about this directly and they did not offer a solution other than their products are stocked in an Amazon warehouse and Iâd have to get another or use superglue to fix it? Really. Very poor customer service – the front of the mount is coming off and I use an iPhone 13 Pro on it not the max version itâs definitely not over loaded on the weight side and Iâve had this not even 8 months of use. I could accept it was a one off and then to send another or part but the customer service I got back was awful, do not purchase this unless youâre willing to for out for a replacement should it start to fall apart.
