My husband and I got one each for our individual setups and honestly? It was a nightmare the whole time.Firstly, the actual bar the ports are on is incredibly small and you have to tilt them at a downward angle to plug in your peripherals. If you forget to do that or don’t have it at the correct angle, you risk damaging your device.Secondly, the power allocation is actual garbage. Never in the year and a half I have had this laptop have I ever had ONE power issue until I got this hub. Devices were shorting out all the time, and it caused my system to freeze on multiple occasions. This SHOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT HAPPEN. Neither have any of the devices that were plugged in had any issues before and none have had issues since.Thirdly, it was incredibly inconvenient to place. Yes, it’s small–but it’s also incredibly inflexible. The receiving USB-A port is placed upside down, no matter where the outgoing port on your device is, you have to have the hub facing backwards to use it, which for most setups, is very inconvenient.We both use USB microphones for video production purposes. Both our devices can handle up to 1920000 ghz on 24 channel, which is studio quality audio. This cannot handle that at all. In fact, it can’t register or read the microphone at all whatsoever. Using a different port on our devices solved the issue.In fact, getting rid of THIS hub altogether solved the issue. Don’t waste your $7 and change on this piece of actual trash. We actually went out of our way to return these because we should not have to be out $16 total because of how poorly these devices function and the fact that they stopped working after two weeks. Do yourself a favor, get away from this page, and go find some other affordable option because this one is not a good one.

Only worked for a while + no support
So this was great for about a month. Now it wonât allow any wireless mouse devices to connect. I tried it with different ones and still nothing. They are all charged or have full new batteries. The hub has power as the blue light is on but my MacBook Air will not recognize the mouse anymore.Itâs advertised as compatible with MacBook Air and it worked just fine for a while. I just think itâs not a great product and that itâs not meant to last. Also it heats up a lot even with nothing plugged in so that is probably not helping. Weird thing is other devices work when plugged into it. It is only the wireless mouse that has stopped working and so now it is useless to me as that is the whole reason I bought it.There is no support for this product so I canât even contact anyone. Amazon is saying refund window is passed but I am thinking that is my only option to try and get a refund and get something else. I have googled and looked for support online for troubleshooting beyond what I already tried but nothing.So thinking cut my losses and try to get refunded and get a new one that actually works longer than a month.

Works as it should
I have wanted a USB C Hub for quite some time but because most cell phones have removed the auxiliary port and because the auxiliary port on my laptop no longer works, I wanted to make sure that the USB C Hub I chose had 3.5mm headphone port. Most of the hubs with an auxiliary port are priced much higher so I was iffy about this product but I am happy to say that everything works like a charm on both Windows and Android devices. I love how the cord doubles as a USB-C AND USB-A connector, removing the need for any extra adapters. The only thing I dislike is the waynthe material feels. It does feel cheaply made but at this price point, I don’t care how it feels as long as it continues to function, which is does flawlessly.
