Actually works really well.
I often take a sling bag out and have a 24oz steel water bottle in it. Obviously it takes up a lot space and if Iâm done with the water, that space canât be reclaimed. This water bottle has more capacity in about the same size and when the water lessens, so does the space it takes up. The material is super durable and it actually does stand up when filled and even drinking it down to empty. Then you can just roll it up when youâre done.The cap is nice tight and I havenât experienced any leaks. The flip up cap clicks in tight and is still easy to pop up when drinking. Itâs easy to drink from, just like a sport bottle. No weird smell or taste either. Highly recommend this.

Best portable water bottle solutions so far
I haven’t taken it on a trip yet but in trials at home this has lived up to its promises. It is very light and folds up small, totally leak proof from what I’ve seen although time will tell with use as the lid gets used more. I like that the capacity is more practical, other solutions I’ve seen only go up to like 16-20 oz and that’s just not enough. My only complaints so far is that it’s not easy to get water into the smaller hole if you have a larger flow of water, and I wish the carabeaner part was more flexible so that it can be hung and twisted more on a bag with less chance of breakage. But overall it’s great and meets expectations, it doesn’t alter the taste of water and I like that it sits upright when filled.

Lightweight, portable, stands up on its own when filled, and leak-free!
First off, let me mention that I’ve only had this water bottle for a day at the time of this review, but I’ll be sure to update it as it sees regular use as I take it with me backpacking over the next several months.I wanted a water bottle that was light and could be rolled up when empty and stashed in a pocket, as lugging around an empty water bottle is always a pain as someone who likes to go out and about with just what’s in their pockets and not carry a bag around. This seems to fit the bill. It weighs in at 43g (1.5oz), and rolled up your looking at max dimensions of about 5.75″ x 3.25″ by 2″. Still a little chunky, but it’ll go in a fair amount of pockets.I was hesitant to order at first, as I’d heard reports of leaks, and there at least *was* a known issue of leaks occurring even on brand new units when pressure like a squeeze is applied to the bottle and then any sort of lateral force is pressed against the cap or neck. I can report that the one I received, a 1L model manufactured April 2020, only exhibits this behavior if the cap isn’t screwed on completely, which is a fairly easy mistake to make, so be sure to properly torque it on there to compress the o-ring that forms the seal.Otherwise, as a backpacker who likes ultralight and portable stuff, this is just about ideal. I’m looking forward to putting it through heavy use and seeing how it holds up!Do note: the blackout model at least is indeed a full blackout on the sides and not even partially transparent, so you won’t be able to see how much liquid is inside. The bottom is clear… but that doesn’t help much.

Black colored bottle not transparent; can’t tell how full it is
This is my 3rd Vapur water bottle for my family. We love them for air travel. Heads up the black colored bottle has no translucency, it’s completely opaque. That makes filling the black colored bottle harder than the other bottles (which are see through).This review docks one star because one of the 3 bottles has had trouble with very slight leak (which surprised and disappointed me) but we made it work for the trip by using the clip to hold it upright in my backpack. Keep in mind the plastic (as all plastic does) will pick up scents (it still smells of perfume from the airplane and hotels).Yes they are harder to hold than a typical hard water bottle, but that’s worth it for the ability to pack flat when empty. And they stand up well while holding water.

Nice and convenient, comes with a carabiner
I used this while on a week-long European cruise and it was great to fill up on the ship and clip to my fanny pack or bag while walking around for our excursions. It is a flexible yet stiff plastic that when you fully fill it up it can stand up on a table, but when empty you can flatten it and roll it up or fold it up to stuff it in a bag for your carry on or luggage. I also like the cap since you can screw it on and off, and flipping the cap up to sip from it is easy. I thought the size was great as well. When fully filled up, it was enough to hydrate me for the several hours that our excursions typically lasted and was easy to refill at fountains.I think one note is that it’s kind of awkward to clean. So I would recommend only filling this up with water. I’ve been just rinsing it with water and dish soap.

More difficult to fold than its smaller counterpart
This is my second Vapur. I bought a .7 L version about two years ago.While this is the same design, I’ve found when rolling up the 1L size, getting the carabiner loop to go around the folded bottle is MUCH more difficult on this version. It almost feels like I need to crunch up the bottle like a piece of paper to get it to fit.The carabiner also just isn’t as strong, having popped out once already since initial use.Still, for the price, it’s nice to have this option for a portable water bottle.But if this is your first Vapur and you don’t need a full liter, consider the .7L version.

Da ich versuche meine Gadgets schwarz zu halten, war diese Flasche perfekt. Ich hatte vorher eine 0.7l Flasche einer anderen bekannten Marke, die mir allerdings ein bisschen zu klein war. 1L ist perfekt für unterwegs. Die Flasche ist jetzt 2 Monate in Benutzung und funktioniert noch wunderbar. Die Ãffnung ist schön groÃ, sodass man sehr leicht und kleckerfrei Wasser hinein füllen kann. Durch den Trinkschnabel hat man aber eine gute schmale Ãffnung zum trinken. Das Material ist relativ stabil, sodass man die Flasche auch ohne Probleme aufrecht hinstellen kann, selbst wenn sie nur halb voll ist. Den Karabiner habe ich persönlich noch nicht benutzt, wirkt aber zuverlässig. Was ich wirklich toll finde ist, dass die Flasche unten transparent ist. Das sieht man im Alltag überhaupt nicht, aber wenn man durch die Ãffnung in die Flasche guckt, erkennt man direkt den Füllstand und eventuelle Verunreinigungen des Wassers. Da die Flasche sonst eben Blickdicht ist, ein tolles innovatives Feature! Kurzum: Ich bin begeistert und sollte diese Flasche irgendwann den Geist aufgeben, kaufe ich nach.

This is such a game changer for people like me who donât like to lug around a huge water bottle all day. I take it to the office folded easily into my little bag without any water in it and fill it up in the office. Great size as when I finish 1L I know to refill it and finish my mandatory 2L a day.

I bought this bottle for a recent trip I took and it came in soooo handy! What’s great about this bottle is it can be rolled up to take up very little space and it’s so light to carry around. The carabiner attachment is another great feature because it allows you to hook the bottle to the outside of your bag for easy access. Would highly recommend for travel.

A friend loaned me one of these bottles and I was sold. I immediately ordered one for myself. So convenient for travelling, no nasty plastic taste and it folds away easily when empty. My water bottle had not shown any signs of wear even though it had been on a trip to Hawaii and then on a camping trip. I say “had” because I forgot it on a beach when I was out kayaking.The one negative thing about the bottle I ordered is that it is black. Obviously not the sellers fault but my own. I had put my black water bottle in a shadow when I stopped for a break on a kayaking trip, and didn’t notice it when I scanned the beach before I set off again. I only discovered it was missing after a long paddle. I didn’t want to go back. Ordering another one seemed much easier. I ordered black again (it was cheaper) but have now tied some bright pink flagging tape on it .I will be interested to see how the bottle does with lots of use over a longer period of time. So far I have been very impressed and love my Vapur bottle.
